6/2/2025 8:23am And for this reason why Troy often runs a 220mm rotor in the rear but a normal 200mm up front. Rear brake is consistently "on" far more than the front.

5/26/2025 9:26am Bashing gates with elbows, hands, cranks and pedals is all a part of slalom. If you aint making contact with the gates you aint doing it right.

5/26/2025 9:21am Also in a Red Bull sponsored non-UCI event... But as far as I can tell Crankworx still uses the UCI rulebook for its DH races. And I can't find direct references to the operation of and rider interaction with timing gates in either rulebook. It might not be a problem in UCI DH simply due to the design of the start hut preventing riders from doing it?

5/26/2025 9:15am Let’s also hope they figure out caliper seals so you don’t get wet pads out of the box 8/10 XTs lately have been a warranty job before even installing them

5/26/2025 9:12am They're just copying srams retarded decision to tuck the hoses up against the bars as though we're all roadies that are going to integrate them into our bars and headsets. I thought we'd effectively communicated to manufacturers that we didn't want that shit but Shimano is late to the party and has misread their customers once again. So now we get more cable rub and noise from both the major brands, unless you're a weirdo who buys Scott I guess. Gives everyone else a little more motivation to explore other options.

5/26/2025 9:08am The benefit is that you can have fairly high antisquat around sag point, but (like Yeti does with the dogbone link that goes over an inflection point, just like switch infinity) prevent excessive chain growth further in the travel to reduce pedal kickback.

5/26/2025 9:01am I think it's Sixfinity, there's a lower link that rotates too so not a pivot on the front triangle. If Yeti did a run of regular bikes 150 to 170mm travel with that suspension I'd definitely be interested.

5/22/2025 8:30am A Matter of taste i guess but of all the changes WB have done going with poles is certainly not the worst. Tape looks wacky on TV, just my two cents

5/16/2025 11:45am Cold cannot be the problem here. Do timing belts in cars break when its cold? I run a pinion/belt equipped fat bike all winter when its 0F and I have never broken a belt... The times I have broke a belt however, is after a rock strike. While all of the pinions have bashguards to protect the box, several of the bikes dont have anyway of protecting the belt specifically. If a rock kicks up and hits the belt, there's a good chance its damaged and can break. I have thousands and thousands of miles on gearboxes/belts and design bikes...
