6/18/2026 10:11pm Dead Zone? That's the Drift Zone. Know it, live it, love it. Lean it over just a bit more, and trust me, it'll hook up. You just went from a slide to a carve! Good times.

5/14/2026 2:28am I guess it was my turn for Waterloo Quackery. Knock block and pressfit BB. You freakin kidding me?! No wonder why it was on super sale. But for that price, what could go wrong? See above. You guys probably already knew this.

5/13/2026 7:17pm If your glove is bunching up? Means it's too big. Could be from a few reasons. But yeah, tighten that up. Glove care. Always wash your gloves when you wash your bike gear. Kinda like lube your clipless pedals when you lube your chain. Manufacturers have always preached that sweat combined with dirt/sand, etc is the number 1 reason for...

SylentK Added a reply to Tire inserts - do you run them?
4/3/2026 10:13am Well, it depends. Tires, Bike, am I racing? Do I need time to change tires and tire goo? Ugh. Sometimes there's no time for that when you have a wife and kid and job and house and life and stuff. Jus sayin I'm getting older and have raced a ton. From Schwalbe Procore to Cushcore. They all work great. But...
Is the ability to change a battery or charge it, or bleed brakes or change a der cable going to affect you? Maybe you should look into that? And perhaps even solve for that? Example: I ran out of battery, but I want to do more laps. Throw in another battery. Or plan on charging said battery. Let's call that...

2/15/2026 12:57pm Oh man. The speeds those guys go. And what tires do you use? I def don't have the fitness or the skills for such a course. But super rad to watch!
Having had/have 4 eebs. No issues. Except dropping the motor to get the derailer cable change. That sucks. But electrical? Nah. Not yet? HA

2/10/2026 11:36pm Ahh...well my wife may not like you as much. HA. You know, going shorter for "looks" ....;D
No. No XTR. XTR's are made with wet noodles. Hand made in Spain. And cost like it. Saint. IMO If you want wireless, I've had good luck with SRAM. But I don't look at my derailleurs inappropriately HA

12/19/2025 6:48pm It's not how much it weighs. It's how you use it. That's what she shred. Pretty sure.

11/15/2025 2:47pm Maybe GMBN needs to have a refresher course on how to set up your wheels. Tubeless or not. They both have their techniques and nuances. I vote for The Don to do it. Love that guy

11/14/2025 10:29pm Thank you everyone for the solidarity. Update for today. Attempt number I don’t know what anymore I’ve lost count. The friction of rubber on gorilla tape is like it has glued itself the the bead of the Tyre and it takes me over an hour just to get the bead of the Tyre to move away from edge of the rim and drop into the rim bed. I’m so sweaty I look like I’ve just got out of a pool and my thumbs and forearms are no longer useable body parts. I work in concrete construction everyday and this is...

11/14/2025 9:19am This feeling connects with me on an emotional level. For me it was a tubeless wheel from before I worked at a bike shop. I used finish line fiber link sealant (just 1 bottle) and personally retaped it like 3x as well as letting my friend who already worked at the bike shop retape it and tell me it wouldn’t work. Ended up being that the sealant was too thick and I had too little so it wouldn’t fill all the holes. I let my neighbor put some Stan’s in it swearing up and down and it wouldn’t work and...

11/14/2025 9:18am I've put minions on my bontrager wheels that came on my remedy and it was the tightest fitting tire I've ever done. It was a real pain in the ass.

11/14/2025 8:00am Stock, Bontrager wheels. Wanted to put Maxxis DH meat on. I have recently crashed and have hand/wrist/arm weakness. So took it to the Trek dealer. They performed it right away. But didn't put in any sealant. That's when I knew I should've just went away. Dude broke a tire lever right in front of me. To put in sealant. Like...

11/12/2025 6:14am I'm on my third set of Rovals carbon w/ DT. Not because of failure, just selling bikes that I put them on. I couldn't be happier. The straight pull spokes aren't my favorite. Glad they went J bend. Fun story: I tried doubling up a rock move in Moab. Totally cased it. The rear broke a spoke. But the tire was fine. In the middle of no where Moab, I'd take the broke spoke. Hmmm...snot bad eh?
