7/2/2026 6:43pm I think calling what that guy did a garage bodge job is insulting to both that user's ingenuity and craftsmanship and as well as garage bodgers everywhere, who would view that as far too sophisticated.

6/29/2026 4:11am I think I'm done with Schwalbes on the rear of my ebike. I got 4 weeks out of this one at ~15,000' vert per week. Soft is fine for my pedal bike which only gets 1/5 that much distance.

6/25/2026 7:56am The DD Dissector in DD and new MaxxTerra is likely the best bet. TB00700500 If a 2.5" width suits your terrain better the Aggressor could be a good shout too, but is a bit heavier. TB96870100

6/25/2026 6:20am I felt the answer about the price was a little weird. They're not trying to recoup any costs, so they're implying it's a construction/materials thing that makes the price. Again, 350s on a bike of that price doesn't sound like it's a spec choice, and hearing that price isn't a reflection of R&D just makes it raise the question further; Where on earth is this price coming from if NOT R&D and pro-team economics? It certainly isn't the spec. Loved the video otherwise, thanks a ton Jason.

6/21/2026 12:09pm What are people running for summer trail tires? I just switched to a Dissector V2/Forekaster Exo+ combo. Thoughts: I forgot how good Maxxgrip is when its new. I was definitely getting squirrely off of the lips of jumps for the first few runs - I'd gotten so used to the radial front that my brain had to recalibrate. I was pretty confident on the dissector right away. No vague handling characteristics, no washouts, solid cornering in dry/loose conditions. Curious to see how the forekaster holds up in the rear.

6/6/2026 9:38am I’ve been riding one for the last few weeks. At 6 foot I chose the 480 reach and the geo has overall been really good fit for me. I’m slightly over forking it and the HA feels about right and I don’t have any complaints, but it’s within the capabilities of a angle adjust headset to dial in if needed in the future for sure. overall the combination of high stack, relatively long rear, and the extra stability, lower rolling resistance, and grip of the 32” wheels ends up being a pretty convincing package for a trail bike in my...

6/3/2026 6:17am MaxxTerra High Roller 3 would be great for the e-bike crowd. Race tires are cool, but e-bike tires are (I’m guessing) what pays the bills.

6/3/2026 4:58am Yeah the HR3 being such a race oriented, mixed conditions tire the priority specs were the high grip options. Because this tire is so good in the dry and dusty conditions as well it's on our radar to look at a more durable option at some point. The new pattern will be a hit hopefully; it's been a bit of...

5/29/2026 5:06am Took a lot for me to steer from the classic Assegai/DHRII combo but been absolutely stoked on the change to HR3. For all conditions. Been real stoked on em and probably will be all I run now. Appreciate your work on them and what they turned out to be! Always very climate controlled, inside, and not located near anything else. Pretty moderate/dry climate where ridden primarily (SW CO). The fastest deterioration in cracking was on my first one while in Revy/Whistler last fall. I had wondered if the back and forth between wet and dry had anything to do with...

5/28/2026 1:42pm Glad to hear you’re liking the tires! I was on the design of the HR and it was a super fun project and love to hear when people enjoy them. How do you store the bike / tires? Climate controlled? Near any large appliances?

5/28/2026 12:46pm Please reach out to the warranty dept and they can get you sorted with a new set and send you a label to return the cracking tires. I am an engineer at Maxxis (not in the compound team) and can get these into the right hands for analysis to see why this is happening on your set. https://www.maxxis.com/us/warranty/bicycle-warranty/
