12 minute video? Short on time. Can someone Cliff Note it for me?

My guess on Wyn is he'll end up on Santa Cruz and travel with the syndicate but not actually be on the team. Maybe cannondale and doing his own thing but seems like an odd time for PON group to get rid of him.

The PON group own Santa Cruz so leaving PON to join PON makes no sense.

He's saying it would be an internal maneuver 

Wyn is a great asset to a brand, PON would do well to keep him one way or another. 

From the outside, I haven't watched his video yet, I'm thinking his time at GT ended because of GT suspending operations. It wouldn't be a bad thing if Pon had one of their other companies pick him up. He is definitely one of the better riders when it comes to promoting the sponsors..

Maybe internal refers to Europe. YT seems to do a good job finding people that are successful on track, as well as on social media.  Wyn seems to embrace the “uncaged” lifestyle pretty well. 

Has Hans Rey officially left yet? 

 

Hans Rey is going to be like those Japanese soldiers who didn’t believe World War II was over until the 70s. He’ll still be going to trade shows and doing trials routines wearing a full blue and yellow outfit in 2035.

yep, I seriously love Hans, you know how they say never meet your hero's? Absolute opposite with him. Ran into him about 20km outside queenstown at a tiny pub and he was the nicest guy ever, we talked shit for easily 2 hours. Great guy and I hope he wears that GT cap forever. My MTB Hero.

I took it that race team shutdown, not GT shutting down so I would think Rey would still be a part of GT.  

I want to see Hans Rey continue with GT as much as anybody, but I don't see a "paused" brand spending money on that. Best case scenario is maybe he also ends up on Santa Cruz, could have a trials legend team with Danny McCaskill.

I had hoped wyn on gt doing the privateer project at the first round was a sign the “pause” was going to be on the short side.  Unfortunately not.

I know wyn is going to leogang from his wyn tv.  Hopefully he is announcing a new sponsor then.

GT seems to have only sponsored good folks.

They came to my old hometown a million years back to do a bmx show. There was a 3rd rider that I don't remember, but Dave Voelker and Tom Haugan came to town. I drove those dudes to/from the airport and a couple places; super nice and seemed stoked that people were excited to see 'em. They did a demo and absolutely ripped.

100% good dudes.

Speaking of GT, any insight on who Brage is going to end up with? That's going to be a such a good pick up for whoever lands him.

Heather Wilson discontinues World Cup Racing

Wild - I've been wondering what's up w/o hearing her name this season.  That has to be a tough decision so all respect to her for that. I'd guess she wants to race, and I think injuries are preventing that but it takes maturity at a young age not to just rush out and do whatever. Hoping we see more from her soon enough.

Is Wyn going to ride for Scott? Sounds like he was hinting at it dueing his Leogang XC/Enduro video when he was chatting with the American Scott CC rider.

Great news for Wyn. Expecting to see him on a rebadged Santa Cruz sometime soon. Will Yeah Nah become the new Oi Oi?!

Now all Pon have to do is find another brand for Hans.

Edit* I've just watched the track preview for the next IXS race and Dom Platt is shown as riding for the GT Privateer Project. I wonder if that'll keep running? I kinda doubt it, but I hope so.
