I leave enough slack on the internally routed cables to pull them both directions a smidge and put a wrap of electrical tape in the right spot so that it's snug against the frame entry port. This applies to bikes like Santacruz which have fully internally guided routing... but have a bit of a loose fit on where the cable enters the frame. Soft side of the adhesive velcro is obviously a savior in many applications and does well to not collect dirt/mud and wash off clean if it does. I've used moto skid plate foam (very open cell foam)...

Not sure if its called something else in other countries but I use mastic tape all over my bike to quiet stuff down. Helps deaden cables hitting the frame, water bottles rattling against stuff or even making a discount VHS chain slap device for the chainstay. Also holy fuck how do I make these images smaller.

Hope front hubs for life and luckily the list of 148 DH bikes is growing day by day. (Canyon, YT, Transition, GT, Forbidden, Spesh, Frameworks) Glad the industry is having to cave a little on these incremental improvements that could end up robbing you of a day of riding if you don’t have backup parts. Very interested to see if the new Demo is still 148.

This is a biking forum so I don't want to get derailed too much but NO!, of course I'm not in favor of extrajudicial unconstitutional attacks on minorities. I also hate the guy that's been doing that (also has a ton of SA allegations). At least in the US, not sure about elsewhere, but less than 4% of sexual assaults wind up in convictions. So while yeah, the government shouldn't jail somebody without conviction in a court of law, the participants in a sport that can be exceedingly bro-y should definitely call out and shun people who have a predatory...

No convictions as far as what is publicly available, but he has been accused of sexual assault , and his pattern of behavior has been corroborated by many pros and support staff in the pits. He was also dropped by 2 teams in quick succession, so there is definitely some credence to the claims.

The Leatt helmets are one of the only moto rated ECE 22.05 helmets that are advertised for DH use. I would guess the chin bar got hit down and he caught a stick or something with the face, pretty gnarly wreck. This rating does not carry over to the other spec MTB helmets...

Is it just me or can 1/2 the riders in the field not do an interview without saying fuck???? I get being real on your socials but when WB is trying to secure sponsorship from businesses outside the mtb world, you might want to check what you say? Bigger sponsorship would bring the field larger payouts. And as a parent of young ones that repeat everything.... they don't watch with me.

Terrible for the pivot guys On the belt drive topic, I think the fact that someone crushed a two day, seemingly back to the olden days of Enduro style race without a mechanical on varied conditions shows they they might actually be something that can happen at the top of the sport. It'll be interesting to see how they hold up over a DH race week.

Will Fox stop saying it's just a prototype now? Excellent choice going with a 20mm axle for the single crown version. Does this mean the inverted 40 will get another shot?
