Where do analog bikes need innovation? Also how is adding a motor not a massive innovation to bikes, akin to suspension and gears? Edit: these are sincere questions. Curious what you think…

Blur and V10 are their best selling non ebikes?! Maybe I'm in a bubble in the northeast US, but I know 4 people who bought a SC bike in the past year and they are all Nomads. And others already owned Bronsons. All the middle aged and old guys around here with Santa Cruz ride Tallboys or Hightowers. Can't remember the last time I saw a Blur, and Nomads are so good in the park that only the hardcore DH racers buy V10s.

:-) Well, has a French, I can only say that the best cheese is French and near my hometown. Budget wise, full focus on material, components. I mean, we will not have a mega hospitality in Season 1 or the most beautiful set up of the paddock. We want to do things in the good way but it's performance/sporting first. Again like we do in motorsport : we are not the biggest team, but last year we fought with Corvette factory team, beat Porsche, BMW factory teams etc. Dont get me wrong, I am not saying we will bit the...

Yep. Exactly this (like I mentioned in my marketing spiel above). Sam Hill is no more or less valid of a brand ambassador than a German Youtuber who puts out a high volume of stuff. They speak to different audiences and carry different intentions. Both have their places and can be utilized by brands to speak to specific sorts of audiences. Matt Jones isn't selling many Marin Quakes to 55-year-old gravel guys just like Christopher Blevins isn't going to sell Tailwind high carb fuel to 17-year-olds riding Whistler on clapped out downhill bikes. Know your audience. Figure out how to...

Its micro marketing and not meant to be a global marketing campaign i would guess. Clearly doesnt move the needle as much as lets say sponsoring an athlete like vali, but will probably also just cost a fraction. I have no clue, but could be that trp doesnt sell as good in germany, hence give a guy from germany a couple of the brakes and he might help sales there. This guy is well known around here, but not only because he does youtube. I have seen him doing comunity stuff like shaping dirtjumps in free acces areas with local...

Blasphemy!😁 I want to disagree, but... you're actually right. Sort of. I am just offended that the hero of my youth isn't full factory anymore.

New brand ambassador announcement from Tektro/TRP: Haßloch / Changhua - February 1, 2026 - 2026 is a very special year for Tektro / TRP, and we’re excited to start it with great news: Jasper Jauch joins the Tektro / TRP family as our new brand ambassador. This partnership comes at the perfect moment. Tektro celebrates its 40th anniversary, while TRP marks 20 years of performance-driven innovation. Two milestones, one shared vision - and a strong reason to look ahead together. Founded in 1986, Tektro has always stood for reliable, innovative braking systems and drivetrain components. What started as a specialist...

VPP is 4 bar Lets be frank here one of the biggest reasons they (and Intense) bought VPP was because Specialized had the Horst patent.
