Those are tires from the Specialized race tire lab with blank sidewalls. Specialized dropping their Radial tires by/at Sea Otter. Loic and Finn have likely been on custom casings for a while. Might not be full consumer Radial as those guys like a particular casing (used only in the Cannibal).

I thought they are breakaway so your head/neck doesn’t snap to the side in a crash.
My PhD advisor's brother was a professional motocross rider until he ended up in a wheelchair after his visor got stuck in terrain in a low-speed crash. That was 30-something years ago with a motorcycle helmet, but there's something to be said for breakaway items that might create leverage on your neck. I'll take a facial injury before I give up the use of my limbs.

I’m really looking forward to some updated casing options from Spec. I think they have some great tread patterns and rubber options right now. And while I really like the grid gravity casing, it’s a touch stiff when you’re not riding at full pace.

This is why many motocross sanctioning bodies have banned the use of POV cameras on the exterior surface of a helmet.

Not only the effect as a lever, also the effect of localized stress through the mounting point instead of through a wider area through the helmet shell plays a big role here. Eg Schumacher's brain damage was caused partly by a camera that split the helmet iirc
Not the prettiest frame I've ever seen but with the rumored death of the Chisel I'd say there is space for an aluminum DC rig. 130mm front, 65 degree HTA. Release date looks like 4/17 according to the Marin website.

I don’t think so…in a couple of years I think we won’t see 203 anymore, a big brake brand is going to switch over to the …, 180, 200, 220 pattern as well soon.
Surely not...Force everyone with <big brake brand's> 203 mm rotors to replace their mount adaptors when they replace their rotors (or switch to a different brand)...
Surely not...
Force everyone with <big brake brand's> 203 mm rotors to replace their mount adaptors when they replace their rotors (or switch to a different brand)? And everyone who doesn't know about the change then has problems with their brakes? That would be a disaster.
Edited for clarity
203 will still be available for a while but not with the rotor thickness the new brake is intended to work with.
I do not believe the rumors about chisels and epic evos being done. Specialized straight up lied when they released the stumpy 15, saying they were not going to release an Evo. A rep let slip that they were saving the moniker for “something special” but “official sources” kept saying “oh no no stumpy Evo just a stumpy from here on out.” Obviously that was not the case.
Brands are fighting viciously to clear old inventory, and the worst thing that could happen to a 2022 chisel sitting on a sales floor somewhere is news of a new chisel on the horizon.

My alcatraz dj has a very similar pink and blue set of colors, and it gets me hella compliments with my blue spank wheels at the jumps. On any other bike it'd be way too much.
Bets on that new Norco name? Aurum, Range, Shore, (my personal pick) A-Line?
-Lots of I9 stuff is on sale, stems in particular. New drop coming around sea otter?
- New Epic 9? Stock levels of the Epic/ Epic Evo 8 have been low all year. Seems like they are either clearing inventory or playing timing games with tariffs.

Looks like everything is 35% off at I9. I hope this isn't a sign of something bad.

Wait hold on they released a stumpy 15 evo?? I do specifically remember saying they weren’t going to, and the new stump didn’t really interest me so I haven’t been looking at them. Is it a real evo with a dedicated frame or just some heavier parts on it?

I think they just bumped the fork to 160 and use the piggyback genie shock. Otherwise the frame seems to be the same. Someone can correct me if there's more to it.

Yeah, I didn't know they'd released an "EVO" model, either.
Apparently "We're not releasing an EVO model for this Stumpy, ever" means "We're not releasing an EVO model for this Stumpy anytime in the next 2-4 months."
Crazy that a few years ago the Evo was released with a video that's probably on the mount Rushmore of best bike launch videos ever to this whimper of a launch. I guess a 10mm longer shock and a piggyback didn't live up to the hype of prior evos

Check out this sweet pickup rack...
Somehow, the orange looks even worse on the Podium

Park bike build, will use a long standing model name, both colorways are sick, MSRP was not bad either. 😶

Honestly, looks a lot like a RAAW Yalla (which is not a bad thing at all), although I don't imagine the raw frame is going to be an option...
TR11 is official - https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/race-bike-people-new-transi…
Your Raw frameset dreams are a lot closer to reality than you know 😉
European retailer just leaked new Marin downcountry bike.
Marin TAM XR - 2026 – Simple Bike Store

Wow, that's a color choice.
I’m so glad this isn’t a hybrid enduro/dh bike.

A surprise to no-one, but the TR11 has what we all knew would come:
Looks like the can is branded Linear XL now.

First Mitch Ropelato, now Hand Rey, is a new open face is in the box at TLD ?
7Mesh "leaking" the new Lyrik / Zeb in their 2026 clothing line promo shots.
Noticed the air release buttons in crown.

Mounted to the new unreleased Cannondale also.

Product drop coming next Tuesday?
