Just have to say this as well. Dude can ride wet just fine! I was at MSA standing next to the rock garden when he was the last man down it was pouring cats and dogs! Most of the spectators couldn't even walk down the hill with out slipping out. He crushed everyone and won. It's not that he lacks skill in wett, it's that the top ten of elite has pushed the envelope of progression to an even higher level. Also for someone who was injured most of 2019 season he came in blazing for 2020 at least top...

I’m gonna need to see some riding clips to make sure Teamrobot has still got the clout on MTB. Last I heard he bought a Volvo- and got a job as an insurance actuary or something (aka- he “fell off”)

I really like the Zyrik at 8:04. This is also the first time I've seen a video from Colorado Springs that made me want to ride there. Looked like some properly rough and tricky rock sections.

IMO while it is clearly possible to ride like that with 130mm, he just made it very clear to me as to why enduro bikes exist. That was very ragged compared to his usual videos. Some very talented riding though! I wonder if the ups were timed in enduro as well, if this is the type of bikes they would have settled on?

A 130mm 27.5 fork has 90mm less leverage acting on it than a 180mm 29" fork, so all else being equal Elliott's Pike is probably stiffer than the long travel Lyrik's we were talking about. Just sayin.

12/17/2020 2:06pm I went from a 170mm 36 on my Megatower to a 180mm Zeb and I'm roundly impressed by the new fork and pleased with the change. It's a huge improvement over the 36 it replaced in every respect. Yes, I can definitely feel the increased stiffness, but I appreciate the more linear air spring and I like the taller stack...

How you ride matters more than weight. If you double your weight you double impact energy. If you double your speed you'll have 4x the impact energy.

I like the added stiffness if only for confidence. Might actually add to arm pump but it feels like you can run into/over anything. And the bigger forks look cool- which is a legit selling point like it or not
