Underpowered when comparing them to a full fat. But for those which just want a bit of assistance and only a small weight penalty, they are perfect. I hated my full fat eeb, felt clumsy and dead, kenevo sl feels like a normal bike to ride and jump.

I think you’ll find 165mm 27.5 rear and 150mm 29 rear have about the same capability but a different feel. And honestly, most of the pro’s who have the option of the 170+ bikes use them for specific races like whistler but use the 150-160 bikes most of the other races Also a good suspension design can more than make up for 10mm of extra travel

I think Primoz meant cassette. Those are "indestructable". Good cassettes are an investment.

Stop buying cheap chains. XX1 and X01 are way more durable and stronger than GX. In the long run these will save you money

This, I take a weight penalty than run an e.13 cassette given what I've seen happens with them. Haven't even tried the shifting performance though, have little intention to do it.

but e13 cassettes don‘t even come close in shifting performance compared to higher end sram stuff.

The fact that SRAM made a proprietary derailleur hanger that is also backwards compatible to be used as a “regular” hanger is admirable. These are the kinds of “new standards” I can get behind.

Yea, "aero doesnt matter in DH" .... but riders have their pajamas custom tailored to basically turn them into skin suits...... the big teams still do wind tunnel testing.... in-too-fast-to-pedal sections fast riders get into their "speed-tuck" position. But "aero doesn't matter". No one is claiming multiple second differences with small changes, but it's pretty silly to think that it can't account for fractions of seconds over a 4+ minute track with some wide-open, very fast 60kph sections.
