So reviewers seem to love the Trek Slash ebike, but this norco is a 4 bar high pivot with a full sized motor and oversized battery- why would anyone ever choose the Trek over this?

I have a little note about Leatt grips, the idea of them on paper looked great, they say “maximum vibration damping”. The plastic is cut out and has a material in there which I thought would work great. The grip material itself is pretty stiff. Unfortunately I thought they added more vibration to my bike and bar set compared to OneUp grips or the Diety soft large grip. And in other news, I’m trying the Rimpact TMD vs countershox. Motive calipers seem to be identical to DB8 calipers with the exception of two of the models use a banjo instead of compression fitting. DB8 calipers are pretty much Code calipers with a compression fitting and different aesthetics. So the difference in performance really comes down to the levers.

I designed that out of Super Deluxe Coil- we measured 'solid' height of bumpers (I think at our test lab max of 5,000 lbf) and designed stroke length around that. So a RS SDLXC 65 stroke should actually get close to 65mm stroke if you smash it hard enough. Remove the bumper and measure the shaft- should be maybe 1-2mm longer than the stroke length. Edit- also agree with Darren about data... I'd probably do the test blind and look at data after ranking everything. Then maybe see if you can make improvements based on data comparison?
