At least another week for some of the "unknowns" to make official announcements. Moir is signing with the City of Bentonville and will have an ankle monitor on that prevents him from leaving the area. He'll be slanging pastries and coffee out of a smoko stand in the woods when not riding.

That's nice to hear @dantecusolito ! It's nice to hear that this kind of engagement can also have an impact on customers. But pretty pictures and videos certainly are the better sales drivers. Great to hear you were able to pick up a second hand post. I am sure it will serve you well! @Mitch7MTB Thank you for the kind words. We are always happy to give smaller, genuine brands the same attention as the bigger ones. If we can help them we try to make it happen. I also hear what you are saying about how hard it sometimes...

When I refer to "manpower" I am talking about our in-house capacity. We manufacture/assemble our posts in Taiwan in our own facilities with our own team of now 13 people. That means every single post is assembled by ourselves, not, as it is otherwise often the case, by a "partner"/factory/assembler who is contracted to do all the sourcing, manufacturing, assembly to get the product ready in the box to sell. We draw every single part, source the suppliers, have them made, get them to us and then put everything together in our own facilities with our own machines. No post...

I like the idea of pitching a bunch of Jesse rumors and seeing if any stick. I've got 2 that are 100% confirmed to be true - I saw his shoe in an instagram post - but you guys can come up fake ones if you'd like. Jesse Melamed has signed a deal with Velosolutions to open the first downhill pump track in Squamish. It'll be called "Committing Flowelonies" and feature full speed jump lines into flat 180º switchbacks. SORCA intends to add five more "Downie Pumpies" in the next two years in the hopes of hosting an EDR World...

I tend to buy stuff on sale, so no idea about the stuff that actually came out in 2025 lol. Highlight of my year is probably getting my first coil shock. Found a good deal on a Fast Ride E (might as well ride stuff from brands that are within an XC ride of home if it cost the same...

If you want to know the defnition of what a forecast is, I cna try to explain in my own words (that is how we work with forecasts and does not need to apply for others): For starters, we are an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for many brands. That means that companies buy our products to put them on their complete bikes. Usually, before the beginning of a new year or model year, our customers will provide us with an estimate of their complete demand for a certain period of time. This estimate is called a forecast. This forecast can...

I've been on hardtails forever, and until I got my Tyee this summer I struggled to get on with full suspension bikes. Now I'm thinking about going back to a smaller and rowdier hardtail (used to ride a M size 160mm Dartmoor Primal, now on a M/L 140mm Jeronimo Txabardo), and getting a downcountry fullsus for the long rides.

4 bikes total here - a 170/160 enduro that pedals well and isnt built too heavy (minus the coil shock). - a 140 hardtail for most of my riding, which is XC/trail stuff - a dirtjumper, because both of the above bikes are 29" and that aint great on the many pumptracks around ! and a gravel bike for commuter/bikepacking...

I'm surprised we don't talk about the weight difference between AXS stuff and cable more. I'm no weight weenie (36 lb alloy Norco Sight w 2 lb of lead), but I'm certainly not interested in adding unsprung mass to my bike when I can avoid it. Seems odd, especially on a DH bike where suspension sensitivity is the whole point. I just checked, and a 90 series rear mech is about a 100g lighter than a GX T-type (incl battery). Better yet, an XT 12-speed mechanical rear mech is another 110 grams lighter than the 90 series. Not totally against...

I can appreciate your angle -- Raaw is focused on great riding bikes that are easy for the owner ride hard, put away wet and maintain and why wouldn't we want that with an e-bike? Make something more complex less complex for the average person. I think the issue arises with motors, batteries, etc -- I don't think they'll ever be as durable as a standard Raaw bike so you introduce complexities into a company that's built itself off of offering a less complex product. Then you increase operating coast because you have folks spending more time on R&D and...

Meanwhile I'm currently using my 170/160 bike as an XC bike because the hardtail isn't in running order lol. With reasonable tires (schwalbe super trail casing) and a weight conscious build (2kg Lyrik, 2kg wheelset), I honestly dont see much of a difference with the 150/135mm bike it replaced when it comes to climbing/flat stuff. I'd get a dedicated DH...

DH is a hard sport to watch because it’s too fast and subtle for the average viewer to get it all visually and the background is so much more complicated and distracting than F1 or moto or ski races, which are on neat clear tracks and it’s generally obvious when something happens. Been said a million times but it’s the announcing and cameras that are ruining the show. And I’m not picking on Ric because Rob and Claudio weren’t much better. Eliot Jackson was great. Neko and Gwin can be great when they aren’t being constantly interrupted. I’m a longtime...
