I remember reading a french magazine last year where they tried to build a trail/all moutain bike as local as possible, and Hutchinson was their only option for tires

7/19/2026 3:51am I have two pumps that are presta and schrader compatible (Topeak Joe Blow and some mini pump I can't remember the brand), the style with soft rubber that just adjuste to the valve, I can just push them onto a Clik valve and they work fine. I only use the adaptor when using a compressor, because I'm a cheapass who...

It's a shame there is no way to adjust the height of your handlebars.If you bike's stack is 10mm lower than you'd like you just have to put up with it.It's really unfortunate.

What if we tried putting a small derailleur on the front cogs, may be just like 2-3 gears, then a 5-7 speed cassette on the rear with another smaller derailleur? Same ratios but better weight distribution?

All that pivot shadow at on sale shows is how ridiculous pivots prices are. That bike is priced at 4 grand. That’s a 40% discount. And it has base suspension, base brakes, eagle 90/70 parts. I don’t care how good the “frame quality” is. The MSRP is borderline criminal imo.

6/30/2026 12:39pm Currently in this situation, I've gone for used frame then spend a lot of time finding good deals on new parts (previous gen stuff, dead brands, OEM overstock...) I like building bikes as much as riding them, so that probably helped my decision. Otherwise I would probably have gone used, some proper deals on barely ridden bikes out there
