After some zoom-ins, some squints, and sending to my friends at Law & Order SVU for some "enhance" action: It looks like Dak will be racing the Trans Robitussin race next year on MS Beef Tallow Tombraider. I think they were riding Crestlines in 2025. AI is SO cool.

I've needed to order a pike service kit for a least 3 months, but I otherwise try to do it once a year on the big bikes. Dirt jumper forks get a service when it snows on the sun lol

If you advance the piston past the timing port with the lever in the resting position, you have now created a fully closed system between the lever piston and the caliper pistons, where any expansion in fluid volume (as it heats up) will cause the caliper pistons to advance and thus, brake. It's the whole reason the timing port and the expansion reservoir exist to begin with. The only "real" way to adjust the amount of dead stroke in a brake system is to move the timing port or change the hydraulic/mechanical design by altering the ratio between level and...

And then they can make UDH3, which is the same as UDH1 but uses a slightly different thread pitch for no reason.

Who doesn't like a good poll? Maybe THAT question should be asked in a poll to know for sure, but what we know for a fact is that thousands of you DO answer our polls, whether on the homepage or in an article. Over the years, we've run lots of polls, and we thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of the questions we've asked - and more importantly, your answers. How many fingers did you use to brake with in 2011? Had you ridden a 650B bike in 2013? Did you align your tire...

At least another week for some of the "unknowns" to make official announcements. Moir is signing with the City of Bentonville and will have an ankle monitor on that prevents him from leaving the area. He'll be slanging pastries and coffee out of a smoko stand in the woods when not riding.

That's nice to hear @dantecusolito ! It's nice to hear that this kind of engagement can also have an impact on customers. But pretty pictures and videos certainly are the better sales drivers. Great to hear you were able to pick up a second hand post. I am sure it will serve you well! @Mitch7MTB Thank you for the kind words. We are always happy to give smaller, genuine brands the same attention as the bigger ones. If we can help them we try to make it happen. I also hear what you are saying about how hard it sometimes...

When I refer to "manpower" I am talking about our in-house capacity. We manufacture/assemble our posts in Taiwan in our own facilities with our own team of now 13 people. That means every single post is assembled by ourselves, not, as it is otherwise often the case, by a "partner"/factory/assembler who is contracted to do all the sourcing, manufacturing, assembly to get the product ready in the box to sell. We draw every single part, source the suppliers, have them made, get them to us and then put everything together in our own facilities with our own machines. No post...

I like the idea of pitching a bunch of Jesse rumors and seeing if any stick. I've got 2 that are 100% confirmed to be true - I saw his shoe in an instagram post - but you guys can come up fake ones if you'd like. Jesse Melamed has signed a deal with Velosolutions to open the first downhill pump track in Squamish. It'll be called "Committing Flowelonies" and feature full speed jump lines into flat 180º switchbacks. SORCA intends to add five more "Downie Pumpies" in the next two years in the hopes of hosting an EDR World...

I tend to buy stuff on sale, so no idea about the stuff that actually came out in 2025 lol. Highlight of my year is probably getting my first coil shock. Found a good deal on a Fast Ride E (might as well ride stuff from brands that are within an XC ride of home if it cost the same...

If you want to know the defnition of what a forecast is, I cna try to explain in my own words (that is how we work with forecasts and does not need to apply for others): For starters, we are an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for many brands. That means that companies buy our products to put them on their complete bikes. Usually, before the beginning of a new year or model year, our customers will provide us with an estimate of their complete demand for a certain period of time. This estimate is called a forecast. This forecast can...
