It's like your brain takes one year to forget just how big the hits are at rampage, then the first hot videos come out and all the excitement turns into "wtf are they doing, chill!!!"

He said the plan is to flip it, but he also said he decided to share the drop this year since it's a return site, can't remember who else is using it but there is at least one other rider who wants to trick it, as well. Fuggin madness.

Their dealer email stated the below: Why the Sale? We’re running this massive sale to clear out the warehouse and generate the cashflow needed to invest in exciting new products currently in development. As the market continues to become more competitive, we need to rebalance our stock while investing in prototypes, extensive testing, and tooling for the future models we plan to launch next year and in the future.

One off parts would be cost prohibitive to most people. CNCs are very efficient once they are set set up and running, but there's a lot of work to get there with a part that you've never ran before. It depends on the complexity of the part you come up with of course. It could easily run you over $1000 though. Keep in mind for things that aren't nice and rectangular you usually have to make more parts just to hold on to what you're making while you machine it.

There are a few reasons why we haven't done crowns. 1. To be honest unless you go really wild with offset, it's an adjustment you get used to and no longer feel. I've gone back and forth between 50 mm offsets on my trail bikes to match my DH bike and then 44 mm offset on my DH bike to match my trail bike and found it takes less than a day to get accustomed to the change. I actually spoke with the guy who did the Outsider adjustable crowns about this and he had the same experience. So to...

So I was looking for a list of dig teams, but haven't found anything, so I made one based on Instagram posts. I have been extremely humbled. I recently got my first mountain bike. I’ve always ridden moto and offroad type racing. (Dirtbikes) I’ve skated, skied. I’ve always looked at MTB and thought how much I wanted to do it but never really had the chance. I finally got my first MTB the other day and went on a nice mountain trail for my first time. I always thought I was in shape. I can run a prettt decent pace. I can do a 5k just fine. But wow. I realized how out of shape I was during the climb. I was...

I'll kick this off with a mention to Patagonia for their mountain bike clothing. Being as big of a brand as they are, I think it's admirable that so much of their focus goes into producing gear with recycled materials, produced in fair trade factories, and their commitment to repairing/recycling clothing. I have a few pieces of their mountain bike specific clothing and they've all performed great and have held up.

After thinking about it, I’m surprised that the World Cup (either XC or DH) don’t have a stop in Taiwan since that’s where the bike industry is based. Similar to the moto industry making sure that the SX and MX series start in SoCal.

Track looks "wider" than I remember in the original World Cup. To be expected (may just be me mis-remembering), especially the traverses across slope that had the best in the world all switching to flats to one foot impossible loamy roots. This is gonna be a ripper regardless. Why didn't Red Bull get rights to air this?

Having to pay another $80+ for a chainring has been the thing that keeps me from trying it since it’s pricey to begin with.

That is a really good question. In theory you can get identical reactions at the wheel, however it’s one of the scenarios where theory and reality don’t really meet. To get truly identical performance you also have to tune the shaft speed at which the shock transitions from LSC to HSC. Without doing that, the bike with the longer shock (assuming equal progression and all) will be out of LSC sooner. With the adjusters you’ve got on a typical shock there isn’t really control over that transition specifically. Whether being out of LSC sooner or later is preferable is debatable...

I think that making the standard 34.9 would be a good idea. Let the engineers have a little more space to make long and reliable droppers.

Would love the black spacer rings and adjuster as an option from sprindex. The red and grey just kinda looks ass on a lot of shocks.
