Asa for the win! This track always seems to produce good racing, I'm sure Giant factory racing is a big fan. Boladou besting Vali in the wind was something, it looked possibly more windy for Boladous run. My big questions are, did Boladou have a dip in during her winners interview? Did Williams point at Asa when he came across the line or one of his coaches?

I hope we go back to snowshoe and don't return to Lake Placid, the builders did their best, but when nimbys get to veto track layout it's just frustrating. Maybe now that Vail resorts has hosted a WC we can go to one of their US resorts?

Big congrats to Neko Mullaly for everything he's done. Frameworks up there battling the big dogs and he Seems to be the perfect mentor for Asa. Great listening to him on the Downtime podcast and when he was in the commentary booth last season

LETS GO ASA!!!!!!!!

This year one of the big stories was the potential impact of the group of first year men's Elite riders. They delivered: 3 first year men in the top 8 of the standings, with one of them taking the overall My prediction: Next year the first year women Elites could be just as big a story.

What a race and what a season! McNab’s and Luke Meier-Smith’s runs were mental!!! Definitely bummed for Pink. Stoked for Asa. 🇺🇸 The points Wheel of Fortune was really manic this year! Imagine if they hadn’t figured out their boneheaded miscalculation until the very end… And oh yeah, BRING BACK WARNER!!!

I love the irony... That the broadcast was saying Finn could help his team mate by placing himself between them (not that it was likely a that point)... And of course it's Finn who is the ultimate rider to officially guarantee the title for Asa and guarantee second for Jordan lol. Oof

Oil Clark only .006 from splitting Asa and Jordan

Agreed. Rewatch the slow-mo replay they showed of Lisa and Vali’s runs and you’ll see the trees moving in the background of Lisa’s run just as much as they were in Vali’s run. She still had to hit those jumps well to gain that time back.

Actually amazing. This kid man. And Aletha is going to elites next year. Wow. I saw an event video mention it but never got a clear answer. When was the last time a rookie won a title? Somebody said it was Nico. Crazy.

There's so much time to gain over the whole track, vali gaining 2 seconds at the top and then Bouladou getting them back at the bottom is crazy. Womens race was one of the best I've ever watched and the men's is super tense

Where's this Bouladou come from? Only made 2 finals (including champs) in 2024. Struggled up and down in 2025, with a best of 6th. Otherwise 10-15th and missed 3 finals. This year her worst finals is 11th, missed only 2 finals, a 5th, a 3rd, and now her first elite win. "She's beginning to believe..." - Morpheus or something (She only won a single juniors race, with a strong but not storming juniors career.)

Canadian Ryder Wilson wins his first World Cup (best previous finish was 4th at Whistler), followed by Boatwright and Forlin.

It’s runs like Kai’s that make me miss Rob Warner. These commentators are talking like Kai rides for Frameworks, when if they were on site or talked to enough riders and managers they would know he had to borrow Dedora’s FW bike because his bike broke during the flight to NY. If WB wants to tell stories and create drama, then it’s crazy to me how they miss little details like that.

When was the last time a USA Jersey raced in finals? Men's Elite. Beyond stoked for Cole!

Sounds like someone else is stoked! I'm a major fan of the Pro Downhill Series and am so happy to see Cole in the finals.

No video in the base area today. Just endless ads on the big screen.

Weight weenieism is alive and well in my group of riding buddies. We bought up all the remaining mechanical XX1 Eagle gear as T-type was taking over. All on Blurs that are under 22lbs. One with a sub 16lb Mondraker Podium. I'm sure this varies by local and riding style, but I think the move by SRAM and Shimano to heavy electronic parts has been a boost to the boutique component market, like Madrone, Garbaruk, Darimo, etc.

First hits, tires are in the dirt!

Pretty rude of him really
