Couldn't agree more, so many people getting angry about misinformation and conjecture. World Cup racing has been in flux since it's inception. This is just the next change in a long line of changes. Seems to me that the main source of anger on the forums and comments sections is that it's no longer "free" to watch DH racing. But for those of use who have paid to watch the DH racing (especially the womens) has been some of the best ever. What I gather from this forum is that the World Cup should be free to enter for anyone...

That was finale this year and people were suffering from heat stroke. Everyone from privateers to seasoned pros were complaining about that race and the way too tight liaisons.

I stopped reading Enduro-MTB when they defended headset cable routing as cleaner and "people whinged about internal routing so stop whinging".

Blimey that's quite the read . Have I understood that right ? teams can have up to 10 riders but they can only enter 4 in the race ? If so I'd like to volunteer my services as the 10th rider , free bike and kit without the pressure of actually racing . The Scott Carson of mountain biking . The reference to outside industry sponsorship in How teams get chosen leaves me uneasy , seems ripe for abuse .

I did notice he was running the x2 on the dh bike for the last 2 races. I messaged them and asked about that and they actually changed the linkage to make it a bit less progressive so he could run the x2 instead of the coil. They said the main reason he did that was because he wanted more bottom out resistance and more support than the dhx. They changed the linkage so that he would still get the sensitivity off the top but with the extra bottom out of the air shock. I dont know how many volume...
