Thoughts on this? https://www.instagram.com/loopsdrive/ Imagine if behind your cassette was a 42 tooth cog, and thats where the "pawls" engage instead of in the hub.

Longer travel Sight is 170F 160R. I presume it's replacing the Range as there has been no MY 2024 Range. I missed out on a 2024 Sight and I have a 2025 on order, There were two options (Sight 150 and Sight 160), so I asked my shop to order me the 160. I don't even have full spec yet but the C1 is much the same as the 2024 spec (GX Transmission, Fox Factory etc), but the 160 had a 170mm 38 instead of a 36, and a DHX2 wheras the 150 had a 160mm 36 like current and...

I think we may have to admit some possibilities about the group on this thread. Either: 1. We are all no longer well connected enough to score inside info. 2. The industry is in a slump and not developing product at the same speed as the previous few years Considering the lack of new product that came out of crank works I would suggest the latter but who knows. Until we get some new rumors we can either talk tech or make rumors up. Speaking of which I have one to start: Norco bikes have a relatively low resale value...

That's really smart to make a one-size-fits-all nomenclature for tunes across your product lines. I love that. Thanks for explaining.

that‘s the myth from motoGP but in mtb öhlins sponsors their teams the same way as RS and fox does. otherwise they wouldn‘t have a chance to get their feet into the bike market.

Curious, I thought they look like a good iteration on the previous model Carbon and alu alu has external cables, carbon id fully guided, no headset cable routing geo looks good, shortish CS and WB, should be a nimble bike full water bottle, accessory mount, frame protection looks good good colours, aesthetically they look quite good, Konas simple faux bar. Personally, the brake choices seem underwhelming, but that has been Konas MO for a while now. Other than frame storage, what more would you like from a couple trail bikes?

that’s because enduro mtb are some of the least critical reviews out there and industry bootlickers. „It looks so clean, sick!“ way too much focused on being hip and bros and pushing the newest shit on people compared to other media outlets.

Yup those SC bikes do some weird stuff, the rocker is super rigid & the leverage is pretty high so any slight misalignment or buckling gets transferred straight to the shock itself. Normally traditional eyelets at both ends is super reliable but those seem to be an outlier. The yoke destroying shocks thing is not even slightly overblown! Its just buckling forces on a slender part.....the longer you make it the more it wants to buckle when compressed. I have piles of broken shocks from nearly every brand that has been wrecked by shock extenders. Coil and air, fox, rockshox...
