Has anyone mentioned or heard anything about a Propain factory racing team return? They had a lot of momentum and were close to pulling the trigger on a huge WC factory team effort, but then stepped back. Did it all fall apart? Were they waiting to see how the WB takeover played out? Curious to see if they return to racing or not.
I would agree that it makes sense for Cannondale, but it might not make sense for PON who may be controlling the budget.
I'd personally like to see Cannondale back at WC downhill.

This ties into what I was thinking. I've been mulling about that Atherton could become FMD's bike sponsor. Tahnee ends up on Atherton, as was rumoured, but she stays with the family program, and it works with Tony Seagraves' excited 'new bike' claims, provided he wasn't being sneaky and just indicating the whole team was going to be on the new Canyon bike.
Is Trek confirmed? From interviews Lachie really seems to get on with and praise the session. However, earlier in the season at/after Poland Bruni mentioned raising Lachie's prowess/speed/potential to specialized gravity in the past as a potential prospect. Insta confirms he's following them, and not Trek gravity.
Not confirmed AFAIK, but most of the guesses have been Trek (I think largely based on him already being on a Session). I hadn't heard the Spesh rumor but that's interesting for sure!

I have no insights but Lachie to Spe makes sense. If we look at who has been recruited by this team in the team it always has been some new hot talent even if it doesn't make too much sense from a marketing perspective to always chase for the top dogs when they already have Bruni at the top of the food chain. A woman elite is long overdue for this team. Bruni seems to have a connection with New Zealand and Lachie so maybe he'd like to reproduce with Lachie the mentoring experience he had with Blenkie. Another aspect to consider for Specialized Gravity is what to do with their Gen S structure with the new WorldCup state of affairs... Are they going to merge into a new mega team!!

As much I’d like to see someone like Anna N racing with spezialized, just can’t see them recruiting women. Im pretty sure I heard their manager or someone even saying that in a interview or a podcast.
She’s super impressive.
Hopefully Izobela Yankova will be racing again next year, she's been plagued with injuries over the last couple of years, but is still on the books for Gen S.

Pretty sure they could whip him up exactly what he wanted in an aluminum mule in a few days. They are the only major manufacture producing in-house in North America.
Reading between the lines on the podcasts/interviews with Loic and Finn, it sounded like the signing of Jordan Williams was a bit of surprise. That and the competitiveness was a lot. (Sounds like a game of Uno got a out of hand. I forget what podcast/interview that was)
I was surprised a while back when I heard Loic praising Lachie and saying he would be good for the team. Felt ominous then.
yeah, she was also riding a Canyon sender later in the season.. I'm surprised we don't hear more about her. She was not 16 yet but is already super strong, already batting the top positions with Elite. She is the female version of Asa. it blew my mind that nobody had scooped her already.. sounds like the big teams are not paying enough attention to US racing...🤔
If Lachie goes to Specialized, safe to assume Jordan is out? But, it seems like Trek would be wise to get him signed if they are losing 2 elite men.. He already gets along with the Session.. Does Bodie move up soon?

This makes sense in many ways (even if that sounded as a joke indeed), but Thomas says he didn't sign anything (yet).
Pompon also mentions they would potentially reveal their new riders at the end of the month (unlikely). So perhaps 2 more riders at least, which leaves us with a few questions:
• is Maples still in?
• is Thomas in?
• who'd be the other one? BC? Cam? Loris?
Would not take this interview's insight too seriously though, we know how much riders and medias love messing with us forum fools

Other news, anything about the Forbidden dh* team for 2025? They seem to be awfully quiet this year and their riders have only participated in a couple events...
Agree about Forbidden, that team just didn't seem to have a "team atmosphere"? Could be wrong and just how the season went for them.
