Is the former owner/manager of Dorval AM now working for Scott? They showed a guy who I think looks like him celebrating after Coulanges run. The guy looking grandpa-ish. Or am I just confusing sth?

Lots of sick racing outside worldcups this weekend it seems. In Europe IXS EDC is at Les Orres this weekend on a mental track. Speaking of elevation, it's got some... Maybe worth a look, as they tried to get a worldcup fot some years. And it seems the whole commencal Les Orres team will race there.

To anyone who hasn't read the article on the other site, it's about the mystery suspension run by the YT development team. I think @sethimus and @iceman2058 were hinting at it on page 900 when we talked about the reel on vital's Instagram. Afaik the company is really based not too far away from Winterberg (130km). And to be fair...

Here we go again. 🥳 (Throwback to page 851). I was already quite surprised that we didn't get some shots of this stuff when the YT b-team raced it at Poland two weeks ago.

German website mtb-news.de postet about the new YT development team today and there is some mysterious blacked out suspension on some of the bikes. Ich you look closely you can see it's not only the fork but also the shock. Any ideas what it might be? Bike on the left, fork and damper.

When thinking about TFR we shouldn't forget about Chris Hauser. So the big question is, if he and Sacha Earnest were also there in plain sight. These two and Lachie would make an awesome team.

This one's somewhat a team and a tech rumor I guess: Judging by Orbea's oolap post from today it looks like their DH bike is ready which would take one thing hindering them from starting a DH team off the table.

Maybe the missing one is Les Orres. Word on the street is they have been wanting to host a worldcup for years and yesterday they announced some big news on ig. And on top the track they have there is bonkers. They hosted French nationals one or two years ago and last weekend there was the final round of the...

Having pretty mixed feelings abouts all this tbh... But it also raises some questions in my opinion: 1. Will this affect Peatys role at the Syndicate? Looks like he's the only one left from the good old days. 2. Is there any relation to what was happening around Roskopp a year (?) ago? 3. Is this a major marketing fail...
There's a very outspoken (or rather shocking?) article over the whole situation over at German website www.mtb-news.de with some juicy insights about what led to the cancellation, the current situation in DH and even some rumors, I can highly recommend. You will find it here: https://www.mtb-news.de/news/downhill-world-cup-2023-loudenvielle-cance… To read it in English Google is your friend I guess. 😉 If everything...

But for sure very interesting news. Current version is a beast. Their suspension is so good, it makes you wonder why such a small company can create something that works so fine and the big names often don't nail their kinematics.

Frixtalon and Estaque are rumored in the episode to be joining the Iniguez program which would mean they stay on Commencal but will switch to Commencal Vee.

On Needles' podcast from Les Gets Wyn is fueling the rumor mill by stating that there'll be new teams from brands already in the game getting involved in a bigger way and that there'll be former racers coming back to the circuit for jobs on the sideline.
