5/30/2026 1:04pm Jackson’s DSQ had nothing to do with the poles themselves, other than the wind blowing him outside of them. If it had been tape instead, the same thing happens except he’s tangled up in tape too.

5/4/2026 7:36am Stronger brake is stronger brake regardless of who is riding it, just like lighter lever action is lighter no matter who pulls the lever. They are brakes attributes, not riders attributes.

4/21/2026 7:37am I just updated the lever and hoses and the silver is a legit silver now. My calipers have that slight blue hue to them in some light and the levers don’t.

4/20/2026 11:44am This Just In! Stark Motorcycles is going to be joining the MTB world with its EBike Called the Stark “NotaMoto”. This ebike has 80 horse power and a gear box. Apparently they made the decision to join the bike industry after one of the executives said- “ I mean its all bullshit. You can buy an ebike from Specialized at the same price as our motorcycles. But with like 1/1000th the power. We should just put mountain bike wheels on a Varg and just sell it to them. Theyre just in denial that they want a motorcycle and want to...

4/16/2026 2:39pm It's a little scary how small the 29er rear wheel looks on that frameworks bike, in comparison to the 32" front.

3/4/2026 2:09pm Yeah, Mark's their coach and will be helping with line spotting and so on on the World Cup. It's a great role for him and I hope that it becomes a long term thing he can do. He has so much racing experience and seems to be quite level-headed.

2/18/2026 8:16am I inferred that they tested the XTR's as a set with the XTR rotor, the SLX's as a set with the SLX rotor, Hayes' as a set with the Hayes rotor, Formula with Formula, etc... They then also tested with Sinter pads as control. They missed a few combinations and the hypothesis/method/apparatus/etc isn't described with technical rigor, so perhaps it wouldn't pass as a scientific paper, but it's not a scientific paper. I feel that I can make meaning of the results.

2/18/2026 8:16am Iirc they use the product as shipped, as it's much more relevant than people mix and matching which doesn't happen on stock bikes. It's one of the better brake tests done, sorry it's not to your standards. I'll kindly wait your entirely free review of 14 brake systems in and out of the lab, until then, maybe be a touch more accepting.
