I'll say it again, the top eight junior women would have qualified for elite women's finals in Val di Sole. All the junior women that have been interviewed are upset they weren't given the option to choose their line and wanted to hit the road gap. Why do we believe that junior men are capable of making their own choices, but junior women aren't?

If I were a betting man, it's because they thought that dropping something like that just before a race would leverage WBD/UCI into giving in. If you air a grievance too early they could have used it against the teams in selection of wildcard teams. If they waited until after those teams were announced but did it any earlier than now they'd have basically given the WBD/UCI folks enough time to just not make a statement and make the athletes sweat about what the response would be. raw is uploading right now (internet was fast, then slowed down, so it may be a bit). it was a killer day out there. weather was mint, track is FAST and definitely dusty. the world cuppers are nuts and so are the youngsters. their "normal" is at such a high level. walking the track, it felt like it had been sanitized a bit, but it sure doesn't seem that way with racers on track. the track has everything to it really, not to mention so many awesome, hateful compressions. what used to be the sketchy off-camber/sidehill into the slabby area...

Agree on the UX comment. The simplicity of the RBTV app is so good. I'd disagree on the timing comment as effective, accurate and consistent timing is a fundamental for DH racing. My point is that what we got from RBTV at Crankwork Rotorua is basically what we always got at world cups. No full top to bottom runs, less women and glitches on screen. Even though everyone keeps barking on about how RB was so much better. My point being RBTV offered an inferior WC broadcast but the attraction was it was free

I could care less. But dating a girl who was 17 when she joined your team shortly after she becomes legal, while she still is a part of the team, is pretty questionable and wouldn’t fly in a lot of businesses. Hell plenty of companies would not let you date an employee as a manager if they were 10 years older than you. The age gap just increases the power imbalance. Ultimately if they are happy and stay happy good for them. But there are a lot of young women who get used by irresponsible men making false promises who...
