As a viewer from the comfort of my work from home office which is also my living room? Not really haha All the weather at WC's this year has made for some insane displays of bike handling skills, contrasted by the unlucky few who have got the short end of the stick with changing conditions. I kinda like the drama though. I think this weekend we are on track for consistent conditions as we build towards race day. Unless I just jinxed everyone....

Literally any rider on the circuit want´s more events. And as soon as they go somewhere new (surprise, that happens when you want more) people start complaining that it´s not like what they are used to. Guess what - that what´s it about. I remember BF complainig about Leogang that it´s such a tame track and Atwill riding down with a hardtail. Surprisingly none of them won, while legit racers like the much loved Ratboy just got on with it, gave it all the got and won it. Guess what - that what´s it about.

Geez the result sheet says a bit - so many DNFs and time penalties. Wow.

On the EWS "complaint", a top 20 EWS female rider would stomp a fitness mud hole in most people. If an elite athlete has no time for water between climbs, that's not trivial. That is not weakness. And the "season" isn't sneaking up on anybody. Promoter crammed too much of one thing in and not enough of another.

Great to hear such a qualified opinion from a couch commentator who probably couldn’t even make the first two liaisons in time ill stick to those of the actual pro level racers who experienced first hand how it went down
