Great question. This might be the best thread on Vital. I have so many to share, but a great one is showing up to a shuttle day with all my riding gear, a change of clothes, lunch, electrolyte drink mix, etc, but I forgot my bike. For everyone else that meant they got a designated full-time shuttle driver that day.

this has actually made me cry before.

Personally I think enduro was better as it was. Finish your race run. Wait for a couple homies to finish theirs. Climb to the top and go all out on the next stage. Talk about your last run and life on the way up. Tbh I barely care about World Cup enduro at this point. Pretty much every change that’s been made has been in the opposite direction of what made me a fan. And tight liaison just makes the sport less exciting. If you want endurance to be a factor go back to the monster races of yesteryear.

one thing I learned from the whole covid lockdown thing in Australia is my local area has so many hidden gems, I've been loving exploring these places on my e-mtb lately. Bit of orienteering, exploring and been outside. Riding for speed is less of a priority as I get older.

Im a huge fan of the sport and all but damn I feel like a ton of riders are complaining about everything constantly. Complaining about the tracks about the format, even some riders openly complaining about their bikes. I get that they have reasons for complaining especially with all the new changes but damn it gets kind of tiring as a fan watching. They supposedly have this riders union, they need to organize and use that union to try to make some changes. I dont think slight digs on every interview and instagram post is going to help much to...
