Some big criticism here. If liaisons really were that shorts it’s very understandable though, rocche gianche is fucking terrifying and the other stages are „flowy“ trails but still Finale trails and some are reeeally long

I was watching Bruni's Gopro footage from Fort William practice, and something caught my eye. From the footage you can actually see when he switches between damping modes from the LEDs on his stem. It happens at least 3 times: 1) blue mode off the start till at least the wood section (I did not check if he switches anything in the upper section); 2) green mode in the wood section until the second turn/shark fin after the road gap; 3) back to blue mode for the new fast section; 4) red mode from the bridge before the motorway to...

I just mentioned this is about the wild card riders or lower positioned riders who have either no sponsors or are flow (so free bikes/parts/gear but no contract) and maybe some dudes with TINY contracts and basically NO bargaining power/leverage to ask for a better contract. Like if these dudes even have a contract at all, it could be as low as 1-2k a month. My understanding is not only is not every event like this but not every CRANKWORX is actually run the way Rotorua is. The travel expenses are pretty gnarly for non aus/nz riders, and if there's...

Dude, I think you are projecting one event with one person onto an entire group. We all know how that goes. I’ve been lucky enough to meet many many pro riders in my life and all of them have been nothing but incredibly nice. I’m sorry one rider may have laughed at you, but that certainly doesn’t mean they are all ‘mean girls’ or that in reality even that individual is. Also claiming race results as a reason why someone should be nice to you isn’t the flex you think it is.

This is a terrible take. Both the riders AND Crankworx have acknowledged that talks have been going on for months with no progress. Sometimes you have to utilize the only leverage you have, in this case not showing up to the start line. This clearly wasn’t a hasty decision. Crankworx could have solved this more easily than the riders, why do people blame them and not Crankworx? Also anyone criticizing the athletes in favor of a non-human organization are so wrong and a demonstrate a microcosm of a bigger issue causing major strife in the world right now. Someone else...

Course preview from the Tennessee National DH track with Nasty Nik from today. The track looks dry right now, but it's supposed to rain a decent amount Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Should make for an exciting race day on Saturday.

It’s not fair to the Athertons to assume that that’s their view. Given the super customisable nature of their bikes it’s no surprise they don’t have public graphs. However they do quite openly offer the option for you “to speak to an expert” if you require further information. The geometry and sizing measurements are all there on their tech sheets so it shouldn’t be that hard to plug those numbers in and get a basic idea. And isn’t that all the graphs do anyway!

Thanks friend. I guess it was time to make an account after all, haha. To clarify a few things: - Yes, the title is abrasive, but I feel that I’ve justified that opinion in (too much) detail throughout the video. I’m not on YouTube to make money, considering I make less than C$4 RPM after tax. I also never pushed my resume/background in my video. - After I connected the rear brake, I cycled the pistons to probably 50% of what was recommended in the manual to ensure they were moving smoothly, which they were. I noticed minimal difference between...

The notion that it’s ok for MTB brakes to require high input forces because F1 does is pretty ridiculous.

I second that! Lou pushing through to finish that run and join Gracey as the first two women to complete a Hardline race run is massive for our sport. Anyone who's crashed in a race run knows how hard it is to collect yourself and keep pushing on, and for her to do that TWICE on such a gnarly track was sooo impressive.

Louise Ferguson is an ANIMAL for getting back up not once but TWICE, dusting herself off, and completing the Hardline course. Just look at those windsocks at the final jump section that's some commitment right there! Sweaty palms just watching!
