I think we can all agree that the phrase "violating human rights" is extreme hyperbole, and harms her argument here. However I've spoken to a few athletes and it seems the entire liaison timing and feed timing was just a shit show. Terrible organisation. It was incredibly punishing to anyone who had a mechanical, as you were pretty much done, as it takes 3-10 minutes to fix, then the liaisons were so tight you had to hammer back up the hill. BME in windrock just finished, Rachel Pageau just won on a v10… is that enduro? Ok sometimes races only have uplifts, but it seems very unlike the spirit of enduro to race a full on DH bike.

I think everyone is missing the point. They are testing liaison periods for e-enduro. There is a always the season before the season and the racers know it. They are guinne pigs, and we should anticipate those more likely to speak out to continue to be vocal and say things with information on mind that most of us do not know. Best way forward: someone needs to call out Cris Ball and ESO and get them on record that actual enduro will be around next season. If not, what's the point. For context, Bex finished in 21st place 6:38 minutes back. Imagine being Hattie Harden who trained her ass off all year, competed in multiple XC and DH races and smoked the competition to hear 21st place say the pace “violated human rights” lol, gtfo

Why is there no option about notifying the race commissioner in your poll? Assuming it's a small regional race? Contact the race officials with you info, let them confront the racer.

I imagine he and the media are mutually avoiding each other. They briefly discussed the situation on the Making Up the Numbers podcast, and George referenced having to run their discussion through legal channels before broadcasting it. I also imagine his legal counsel is telling him to avoid interviews as he will inevitably be asked about the situation, and he hasn’t done a great job, from a PR standpoint, with any of his statements that reference the issue… and those were written statements. Just imagine what could potentially go wrong if he goes live, talking in a second language off...

I did not see photos of them racing the bonded bike this weekend. Pretty sure they were all on the welded frames.
