I think you are all under estimating the need for Aaron to get dragged up to Asa's speed. He can mentor him on everything else, but he needs the young speed and young line choices. He knows exactly what he's doing Mr Gwin. Why do you think he is so wealthy, no one would choice kenda tyres for no reason.

not to side track too much, but any decent goalie i've ever played with was a darn good regular skater. When you factor in getting to national team level, I'd easily go with the over on skating ability here. My theory is that goalies typically have to do all the skating drills with full pads when in practice so with regular pads or just playing shinny they can move. And, just like world cup DH, you don't get to that level without being real good at the basics.

Two years ago, I would have called you crazy, but having had some prefrontal cortex development and a few MTB-related operations, it's terrifying to see a couple dozen incredible human beings (some of whom haven't even reached adulthood) put themselves at incredible risk for arguably not a lot of reward. I genuinely think we are reaching the limits of what the human body (and equipment) can do in many disciplines, and the recent injuries to these high-profile athletes are an unfortunate reminder of that. Fuck this man. I can't really articulate why I feel this way about this event in particular given that a lot of my favorite sports are quite dangerous, but something about Rampage just makes this worse.
