5/1/2024 1:08pm My 2 cents. I don't care how many pieces it is, if the whole get up is skin tight lets not split hairs, its a skinsuit. Nuke it and bring back the Palmer days, its not a good look or a representation of mountain biking.

5/1/2024 12:28pm Also good news: Cedric is doing the French commentary. Those of us watching the English language broadcast won't have to listen to him yell inane stuff like "HE LIKES GOING FAST!!!" Are there racers in World Cup finals that don't like going fast? Inquiring minds want to know.

5/1/2024 10:51am This is full on getting back to the skinsuit that was removed from DH racing years ago because it did not fit the image of the sport. Was not a fan of it when they stuck Christian Craig in it for supercross earlier this year. Not a fan of it in DH. Can't get the mental image of Kirkaldie in a skin suit out of my head now. Thanks...

5/1/2024 9:21am I think it looks sick, but it's definitely out there. Kinda like the Cannondale/EF + Palace collabs. It's better than the three color, blocky, and boring stuff so many do. I'll hold out until I see it out in the wild, but it's my vote so far for "Lit Kit". I'd rather see fun, wacky, skate-inspired designs than have everything look like motocross (unless it's full-on motocross like Gwin, that passes the vibe check).

4/30/2024 11:58am Patents have become a joke. Apple literally patented a "rectangle with rounded corners" and then sued Samsung for over a billion dollars. Also, remember when Knolly tried to sue Intense because the seat tube intersects the downtube at a reasonable angle, and even claimed that Intense engineers "examined" Knolly bikes to steal this tech (Knolly's patent is so absurd that 90% of all mountain bikes from all companies "violate" it)

4/29/2024 3:10pm I’m currently riding a steel front end with aluminum rear off a Trek session. Great combination! Similar to that Vampire, different rear axle location/layout. Fun bike!

4/24/2024 1:02pm May not be as steep as Rock Creek or Windrock's Start gates but by no means flat. There's gopro effect in that video for sure.

4/24/2024 1:01pm I'm most interested in pad life tests. All the top brakes are fantastic in my eyes, they all behave slightly differently but all provide more than enough power to lock a wheel, anything more than that is unnecessary. It's about lever feel and heat dissipation for me, lever feel is subjective. But I'd love to see heat dissipation tests. Some brakes are absolutely cooked after a DH run, and power at the first corner is great, but by the last it's gone.

4/22/2024 12:38pm Good to hear. I’m not really interested in a media landscape where every sport is trying to do their own version of drive to survive.
