Heres a team rumor - Dean Lucas talked of riding for an Australian bike company on a recent youtube video he posted, the statement was along the lines of been in discussion with “x” havent made a decision yet. There Was no talk of who the company was, I can only assume it was trinity. edit - come to think of it, maybe that’s where hills headed.

A centimeter is a huge difference in reach IMO. If the next generation of my favorite bike grew by 10 mm, I would probably hate the change.

A lower seat doesn't mean more drop. If you have the seat up to where it should be for pedaling, and you drop it, the top of the seat is only going to move the amount of the seatpost travel. The only way a lower seat will matter is if you are going to slam the post to the collar and not have it come up to the correct height for proper leg extension.

Wow... I was already in the process of planning my trip to Whistler not only to ride, but to see my favorite riders in the Crankworx event this year. Of course everything is priced higher (flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.) due to the event, but I figured it's worth it to see all the pros compete. I feel bad for any spectator who paid a premium to get all the way to Rotorua to be a part of the event... only to see the pros protest and bow out like that.
