Curious about the hybrid air/coil negative spring on the Formula air shock. I'd like to see a teardown to get a better sense of what they're doing there.

first ride of the new YT tues is up on pinkbike. underwhelming is all that comes to my mind… bike looks the same 99% plus geo from 2020. using that diaper just to generate hype.

It was interesting how YT said to keep our eyes peeled around the high-pivot Tues. Maybe they are going to run it only at certain tracks? Still testing?

If it were me, I'd be designing the BB cradle they attached to the motor mounts to be tuneable with weights. Adding 5lbs, maybe more, right at the BB would make the bike feel pretty incredible. Sprung/Unsprung mumbo jumbo.
It's just annoying at this point. We know the bike, so obviously it's something Ohlins shock-wise. Nobody else in the top 10 is sponsored by Ohlins which rules out rider competitiveness, and if it's tech that's found on MX or their other branches, it's not like it's not available for competitors to see and study already. I don't get why they've been covering this up for years and can't help but attribute my annoyance to Loic
As far as I can tell that layout is just a slightly reworked Antidote Darkmatter (HSP, concentric axle pivot, concentric BB rocker link). Looks seriously fast.
Well I was definitely a little off -the BB link drives another rocker that drives the shock (sort of like a flipped Knolly 4x4). The other site's got the diagram covered already thanks to Matt Beer.

Do you actually think Loic is the person who decided the shock should be covered?
I remember a post on here around the end of last season where someone described what he saw when the cover was removed. I think they said there was a small motor that adjusted the shock preload.
