A Horst link is also a Virtual Pivot design, but it's not a "VPP TM" design. As with every other free hub mechanism out there, if tolerances are right and material choice/quality suitable for the application, I think it's not very complicated at all, however their track record + general inclination towards weight saving in the worst places that is so prevalent in the whole industry... Knollys recent sizing is just not it. Putting someone 5’6” on a bike with a 480 reach is just insane. They are either hoping to turn people off the sport or are just incredibly insecure and trying to prove something.
