6/4/2025 10:07am After a 10 YEAR hiatus, Shimano is back in the electronic drivetrain space, this time without wires (thank god!). I've been riding the drivetrain and brakes since the beginning of December, 2024. 6/4/2025 10:06am Here's how roller wear manifests as elongation. Though it's perhaps inaccurate this elongation is colloquially referred to as 'stretch'.

6/4/2025 6:40am Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the whole promise of cutting the field down to 30 riders was to make it so they could show all 30 of those runs in their entirety. It seems like WBD moved the goalposts on that front pretty hard if I'm remembering correctly.

6/4/2025 6:36am Why? It's a $14,000 Yeti e-bike, if $220 for bearings is an issue then its not the bike for you to begin with. There's also bikes out there with half as many bearings that cost even more for a kit because of the stupid sizes they use. It's crazy how people will complain about those kinds of costs but will happily destroy the XX1 groupset in 500k because they cheaped out on chain lube.....

6/4/2025 6:32am Make tiers to how it functions. The NX Ochain has lead installed into it to make it a little heavier and 2° of disengagement. Then the GX is a smidge lighter but it contains more degrees of disengagement. The Eagle Pro Premium will give you 360° of disengagement as well a cool bird and the additional benefit of less mass moving on your body because you just emptied your wallet to buy it.

6/3/2025 6:23am I'll fly the pro USD flag, although I'm very biased... I think you're slightly underestimating the nuance between an amazing fork and a crap fork. At this point you might have rode two forks of the same manufacturer and model but yet they feel vastly different. To me, that's down to fork manufacturing being on the knifes edge of production manufacturing tolerances. For example, 4-6lbs of extra seal drag is garbage, .25deg misalignment of tubes is total garbage, and if a 14" long stanchion deviates more than .0004" (human hair is ~.002") - steaming hot garbage. You might say those...

6/3/2025 6:19am Long time lurker in the forums, thought I'd finally chime in since I own an Edge. Riding background: 43yo ex middle-to-back of the pack pro. I don't take nearly the chances I used to (career and kids to think about) but I still like to ride fast and push myself. I ran a Fox 38 Factory before I purchased the Intend. I liked the support the Fox offered, but could never quite dial it in to get the sensitivity I was looking for. With the 38, I always started experiencing serious arm pump, leading me to cut riding days short...

6/3/2025 6:08am not sure if this was brought up, but in the comments of graceys vid GoPro seems to confirm Jackson thought he wasnt recording... and apparently TURNED HIS GOPRO "ON" (sadly off) mid-run... in finals. dunno. but they say they have the first half of the run so, if true yeah he tapped his gopro mid-run. as somebody who has forgotten to press record and fiddled with trying to find the damn button for a bit... on a winning WC win thats wild. they are working on posting a run... presumably that shows the first half and then maybe uses 3rd...

6/3/2025 6:08am what stood out to me for both of their runs was their corner speed was visibly faster than the rest, particularly Gracie, she let of the brakes and railed every corner on the lower sector. Was incredible commitment!
