There are most definitely more issues. There is a change in LAW and regulation moving forward of the EU using Eitas system more accurately tracking visitors days. (no more hoping the border agent gives up counting all your days with the multitude of entry/exit stamps in your passport. There is a change with having more World Cups in this calendar year. There is a change this year in scheduling in having more "inconvenient" (from a travel logistics perspective) one week gaps. There is a change in the level of professionalism and pressure in results from the top World Series teams...

It was mentioned by me on Moving the needle Podcast. Despite what others think or have written here there are most definitely visa issues or VISA Waiver issues for nearly every non EU based rider. This includes riders from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. You are only allowed to be in the Schengen region 90 days out of every 180 days. Switzerland and Poland are both Schengen states and although Andorra isn't you still need a a Schengen Visa or Etias to enter as you can only enter from a Schengen state. (If you are travelling without...

Airdrop dropped new batch of their bikes in limited-edition Stealthy look. I expected it to pop up here or on PB, but nothing so far. They probably (and hopefully) will sell them anyways. Thanks lord the Slacker is still not available in MX, I’d have a tough conversation with my wife. Edit: one can’t upload pics from mobile here, am I right?

Make a modular frame to reduce SKUs, then make loads of variants of it to increase SKUs. Smart plan.

Sharing @nathan999x press release for their Tube Tether that I think is pretty neat way to carry a tube with a used tube (tube-ception)- https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/introducing-tube-tether-sim… The Tube Tether is currently available for $30 CAD through NWG Outdoor Gear's online store. Every unit is handmade with attention to detail, meaning stock is limited. For more information, visit https://nwgoutdoorgear.square.site/

After 2 years in the trenches dealing with fork friction issues, this is what I have found: In hundreds of forks taken apart and checked for chassis alignment/bushing fit, tight bushings account for maybe 5% of the friction problems. It is almost always the chassis/CSU alignment causing the issue. In rare cases burnishing (or opening up the bushings) is the only way to get any improvement, even though the individual fit on each side is good. But in general it is the last resort (unless when testing each leg individually you find a tight fit). If the lowers are fully...

As a trail builder who likes clean forests, f*** course tape, that plastic ribbon has a way of sticking around forever. I'm talking in generalities here, not necessarily WCDH, but I'd like to see tape completely go away (same with tear-offs). Poles are a better solution, just need to use a wee bit of common sense. Stripe them if they're a caution/jump marker vs course marker. Works for color blind riders and can be done with a handy roll of gaff tape instead of having a separate inventory of markers. Just put 3 black stripes on markers that won't DQ...

New propain tyee just launched about an hour ago. Interesting to see both Ochain and Trickstuff brakes come as oem. Its this the first bike to come with Trickstuff from factory? I know there was a scott scale in limited numbers if that counts, otherwise I cant think of one. https://www.propain-bikes.com/en/product/bikes/enduro/tyee-cf/

I'm not sure what you are screenshotting (Q1, Q2, finals, elite or junior), but the pole locations weren't staying consistent. Nico brought this up on the Downtime podcast. Here's from Amaury's Q1... only 2 polls where your sceenshot shows 3. And again, other jumps on the track where the rider can go on either side of a middle pole. Very confusing. A simple fix would be a different color pole when the rider can go on either side.

Don't fret, B PRACTICE IS HAPPENING THS YEAR! It might sound ridiculous, but I've had laryngitis for over a month, which makes it pretty hard to podcast haha Also Dak is in full training/recovery mode and returns texts/calls on average in 7-10 business days. Dak just got to Europe, so we are planning to podcast later this week after he wraps up some testing.
