^^^this. I was tired of running an axle adapter on my Ohlins 38DH and since I had to move some wheels around my bikes so got a new front wheel with a hub that can do both 20mm and 15mm. Going forward this will be something I'll always do for my front wheels. Shame not more hubs can do that but at least there are a couple options (Hope, Race Face, Tairin).

My Specialized contact says no new Epic any time soon. And why would they. It's widely considered to be the benchmark of its class.

All derailleur "move out of the way". Go test it on your cable actuated one.

Honestly could not think of much worse in terms of bike prep than having to charge batteries for my suspension and derailleur on my DH bike 😢

perhaps I've bought into too much of the transmission marketing regarding its ability to "move out of the way" during impacts - but on my Stumpy15, I've smacked the shit out of my transmission derailleur and it has held up incredibly well. Not sure if that's related to the UDH or the "move out of the way" thing. Either way, that level of reliability could be a tangible performance upgrade in a race scenario.

Linkage driven single pivot is not a four bar. You're looking at the suspension characteristics not the number of links, so it's a single pivot. Same for Delta.

I'm sorry this is pedantic but every VPP and DW link suspension design is already a four bar linkage

Usually when we see a new maxxis tire it's around a year from when they're first sighted, correct me if I'm wrong. Theo Erlangsen said in a video these are the new DHF, and I'm assuming will release with the radials maxxis are developing (You can tell which tires they are by the "NEW DH" hotpatch where the model/casing would normally be). I've seen bike checks with pros that are running that casing where they didn't want to answer tire pressure questions lmao

Dont know if this has been posted yet, but the Demo page on specalized.com has been down for a few days.
