Can we get a separate thread for requesting separate threads so it doesn’t clog up this thread?

If you use a power meter to follow power-based, zone-oriented training and a <32t chainring allows you to do so consistently and repeatably, you actually don't need a power meter, you need to train...in a gym? Flawless logic.

New Fox 38 release date is March 26th 4pm UTC Nothing crazy - Glidecore air spring, X2 damper, speed hole arch. Weight starts at 2200g for 29" New 40 release date is March 19th 4pm UTC Similar treatment as the 38, but looks like a new mud guard and cassette tooling for the air top-cap

Primoz, my guy… I think you are WAY over exaggerating what it takes to swap coils inside a fork. You can do it in a parking lot with a few tools and a few minutes. Just because it can be done in a sterile laboratory with fancy tools doesn’t mean that’s how it has to be done every time.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but before the current Firebird released (after the Phoenix) we saw photos of a carbon prototype of a 2 chains Firebird, that obviously they didn't continue with. This is either and old prototype, or another brands bike in my opinion. @Trocko I think people are staying away from aftermarket Phoenix parts seeing how the frames are doing a good job of disassembling themselves, they don't need extra help.

I think in most cases the things that add weight normally add more performance than you lose from the increased mass, eg heavier/wider tyres. Also unsprung mass is going to play a bigger part at higher frequencies (more rapid changing direction) and our enemy friction is normally much bigger at that point! So 200g of unsprung mass doesnt matter too much when there is 4-5kg of excess friction in the system.

Don't worry everyone: I already had a meeting planned with @sspomer this afternoon, so I'll be sure to tell him on all of your behalf what a terrible person he is and how we're not mad, just disappointed.
