750d already existed in the same French sizing system that gave us 650b 700c etc: "In the French system, the first number is the nominal outside diameter in mm, followed by a letter code for the width: "A" is narrow, "D" is wide. The letter codes no longer correspond to the tire width, since narrow tires are often made for rim sizes that originally took wide tires; for example, 700 C was originally a wide size, but now is available in very narrow widths, with actual outside diameters as small as 660 mm." https://www.sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html It was supposed to be replaced...

600a, 650b, 700c, 750d I guess 32” wheels would be 800e if anyone needs a free reason to get mad.

Quoting measurements to 0.01mm on an aluminium mountain bike frame; they are very very over confident in the manufacturing capability of the factory.

Gott damn, Dave Weagle sure does love his short chainstays! Also the increase of ~3.5mm per size is near pointless. And yes I know CS length will grow at sag.

I don't see any reason to think that the v10 is going to move to UDH. Moving to UDH means giving up adjustable chainstay flip chips, and Syndicate runs Shimano drivetrain which doesn't use UDH anyway. Most people don't want or need a heavy, expensive, battery powered derailleur on their DH bike.

It's like having a high pivot, but not as high. High high pivots have some negatives with them. Then when you have a high pivot, with this solution you have good chain wrap. As for four chainrings, it actually has six - two on the crank spindle, three on the second spindle (two to connect to the crank spindle and one to drive the rear wheel) and one to guide the chain over the crank spindle (because there's some overlap). You could ditch the last one if you moved the secondary spindle higher up, but as I said above it's...

It's likely for more consistent kinematics, namely antisquat. Someone mentioned it in the sea otter thread. By using this set up, you can change the effective gear ratio by modifying the size of the internal cogs, without changing the chains path and therefore anti squat of the bike.

Another wild thing about this Demo is that it uses a GXP spindle for its crankset. We're almost back to isis bbs haha. And it seems to me that you aren't locked into running sram drivetrains, just the special crankset and Chainrings, but you can run anything else on the back of the bike.
