It's probably less about the extra forces a dual-crown puts on the frame these days, I think you're right about that. The one important issue to keep in mind though is that the stanchions will bump against the head tube junction area, and if the frame is not built to take the resulting direct force in that particular area you could easily cause an issue in a crash.

Arc'teryx has entered the mtb space, because you know, there just aren't enough premium brands trying to sell $350 riding pants and $500 jackets. lol (For real, though, even though all of my Arc stuff is the best fitting stuff I have, 0/10 would not pay those prices for it. The only riding pants I'm willing to spend full price on is NF. 10/10 worth it)

Yeah DT Swiss no longer does a convertible front hub AFAIK... I've been running a 15mm axle conversion kit for a while but decided I wanted a proper 20mm hub front wheel for various reasons and did a bunch of research on convertible hubs. Don't want to derail this thread but feel free to PM me if you want info...

Just get the whole Radic brake set and don't bother messing about with the Maven bits. They work so well as they are and don't require any piston massaging or other faff... 😜🙃

Yeah, watching two teammates hospitalise themselves and as a result become with no warning the de-facto lead rider on (what should be) a top 10 team. Plus reading the internet trolls disect her personal life while also suggesting her bike would snap in half if she landed wrong. A lot of stress for a 20 year old.

Coming from the PNW and never seeing running water on a long ride in SoCal has been a real adjustment, and it means I have to carry way more water on my person, or spend a lot of time looking at maps to figure out where all the stores and water fountains are, or both. I miss creeks. And shade. And overcast days. Don't ever leave. Stay there as long as you can, Cam. AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

I am currently using those Tifosi Moab glasses next to the Temu face shield and they are good. Adjustable nose piece and arms and come with 3 lenses. Bought them randomly when I lost my previous glasses on a trip and have not regretted the purchase.
