That’s an early proto.
The one from sea otter uses a yoke to drive the shock, tt is different, different motor and the st goes all the way down etc. I don’t think it’s a very beautiful bike but it looks much better then the proto from your picture.

I was behind them in the lift line today but those pesky diapers blocked my view of anything interesting to report 🙃
We should hopefully find out in a little! Saw Jason on it and saw him walking after handing it off to someone who rode away with it. So, we might get its release later with the DH bikes of summer- which so far are- diaper bike, norco, demo 11, and Commencal

Not necessarily a tech rumour, but PB posted an interesting article regarding pedal kickback (or lack thereof, unless you experience very fast (6m/s) shock compression paired with very slow bike speed). Worth the read if you haven't yet, and there are some nifty graphs.
I think the next task of whoever did the testing should be on steerer tube shake weights.
