To me Enduro is the most interesting and all skills encompassing form of mtb racing. It's just that bike racing (other than Tour de France, which I love watching) as a whole is difficult to package and translate to the TV screen for the masses to enjoy.

People also just get bored of one thing. We've been riding enduro bikes for years now. I ride exactly the same trails as I used to on the fleet of enduro bikes I've had over the years, but now I do it on an optic built like an enduro bike (but with 140/125 travel). Same trails, different dynamics. lots of market lost to e-bikes obviously but for the rest, it'll come back around I think.

No, a receiver is not "legally obliged to sell everything that isn't bolted down". They are obliged to act in a commercially reasonable manner consistent with their fiduciary duty to all interested parties. They are not obliged to extract every scrap of value from a bankruptcy, particularly where, in the case of what appears to be warranty frames in pieces, said product might be unsafe - I don't think you're going to get many bike manufacturers claiming its commercially reasonable to sell warranty rejects. Looking at the auction makes me sad. As someone who worked at a shop where everything on the staff side was covered in stickers (aka all shops), seeing the lot with the fridge the employees decorated with stickers hit home. Feels like that's the bitter end, right? Administration/receivership/bankruptcy is one thing, but it can lead to restructuring. Selling off all the physical assets via auction is another thing entirely. Although I suppose YT went through the auction process and they're back again.

Santa Cruz, Transition, Pivot, and Canyon among others all run Fazua motors. Are these bikes going to turn into expensive bricks when spares run out, or will we see the IP sold to someone else? Hard to imagine its as valuable as it was even a few months ago.
