It always hurts my brain when groups discuss environmental conservation and limiting erosion etc at a SKI RESORT. They already allowed the bulldozing of the runs and there’s 6 months of noise and vibrations from the lifts turning and skier use. I get trying to minimize impact but to me the ski resort has already been significantly compromised in terms of environmental damage.

I am the biggest Rampage fan. I attended my first one in person in 2003 and even helped dig Shandro’s second place line a little. I’ve been to multiple others since. I generally even think the judging has been correct every single year. I also don’t care that the lines are highly manicured now or that tricks (if done up high and off a substantial feature) score really well. Overall, I have very very few issues or bones to pick with Rampage. That said, they NEED to find a fresh brand new venue! Recycling old sites that have been used...

Apparently there's a mtb world cup race this weekend - EDR Morillion namely - and this site doesn't even bother to at least post results (day 1 results to be exact), but more shocking are the entry numbers: about 120 elite men, 30 women, 23 male junior and 4 female juniors. Whoever said Enduro racing was alive and well ... is wrong. Oh, and there were 10 starters in E-EDR...

I'm not sure he does get ignored unless there is a result. This is all feeling and I haven't gone back to check but it felt like for the first part of last year he was ignored, not on Wyn TV , not mentioned on post race podcasts , not on photo reports . Then this year it seemed it was easier for everyone to just not mention it and slowly bring him back into the fold in terms of coverage . Not that anyone ever would ever bother to do this on the dumb two-shock ebike, but I’m trying to imagine how hard it would be to pick a base tune for two identical shocks working in parallel on a fairly normal leverage rate. The funny thing with the one flight attendant shock is that, in that dual shock layout, every time the FA shock locked out it would make the suspension twice as soft by diverting all the force to the other shock.
