7/11/2025 5:44pm Honestly I just feel for Jenna at this point. 13th Q1... 6th Q2. She had a Q1 11th in VDS. And a Q1 11th in Poland. She has not seen a single final this year. (And on a team that absolutely needs the points.) I hate that inherent level of pressure for her. It's one thing to be far off the pace and know you need to make changes. But to be constantly on the bubble and maybe not sure where to squeeze that extra juice from...

6/4/2025 3:19pm Haven't seen any media on this but found it interesting that Shimano also released a battery-less self shifting electronic derailleur for commuting under the cues umbrella. https://bike.shimano.com/en-AU/technologies/details/qauto.html

6/4/2025 2:56pm Here's how roller wear manifests as elongation. Though it's perhaps inaccurate this elongation is colloquially referred to as 'stretch'.

5/27/2025 3:45pm What's extra sick about that Andorra video is that these guys are fierce competitors...but they have no issue riding together, pushing each other on, and in doing so, potentially "giving up" some of their own advantage. I realize it's not that cut and dry, and that they are still just cruising here, but regardless...there are not that many elite level sports where you'd see this. Mountain biking rules.

3/27/2025 5:06pm I feel like this is also very worth to mention. The new crankset comes in a bunch of different lengths, and is very reasonably priced. Instead of buying some aftermarket €500-1000 crankset, here you get both a chainring and a crankset with built in bash guards for sub €200 euros. Might even be good for people or shops to buy, and just let people run them as test cranks in the shorter lengths. https://r2-bike.com/SRAM-Eagle-90-Transmission-DUB-Crankset-55-mm-Chain… Edit: Forgot to even check, the Eagle 70 crankset is just about €100, available in the same lengths, with a chainring. Seems like actually a VERY...

2/18/2025 12:30pm The guys at Onlymotion are close to selling their wireless electronics kit. Pretty amazing that they have managed to pack all this into such a small volume. Also, I truly appreciate that you can charge it without removing the dropper, in contrast to certain mtbr comments. As long as you utilize this conversion kit with any of your mechanical droppers that fit it, you just need to put the included USB-C into the frame once. 10min for 2000 actuations and no proprietary charger sounds good to me. Might be difficult to fit the right insertion on some frames with the...

2/18/2025 12:13pm It looks just as terrible as the Fox Version, Why do we need such a big 'wart' Looking thing halfway up the seat tube..... I want a wireless dropper but i dont want either of those 2 ugly things, especially because i want 240mm drop and the ability to slam the post.... Im happy to pay those prices when a brand can actually design one that doesnt look terrible.
