10/1/2026 6:59am They modified both the takeoff and the landing to make it a bit safer and less technical, which brings it down to around 75 feet into the sweet spot. Still absolutely massive. Clemens' original version was around 95 feet.

9/30/2026 11:37am I love that 1199 has a legit sense of place, a few tough pedals means its true Sea to Sky riding. Watching it you're thinking "yeah, that's Whistler." Riding there is rarely a steep rip top to bottom. It's all about linking interesting sections and slabs, often with traverses or grunts between them. Everyone, when you're in Whistler go do at least one day on the valley trails. Climb the flank or the road up to the Blackcomb trails. It'll hurt, but it'll be amazing. Mountain biking.

9/30/2026 5:38am I personally loved watching the people ready to hammer that "flat" section. Man...this sport has gotten so far away from the pedaling aspect, that when you folks see it on video it bums you. Not even BMX can rival the attention to detail & commitment to excellence that is a powerful, commited DH bike sprint across shallow ground. I can still HEAR the creak of bottom brackets as raw horsepower is laid to bear on a set of cranks in person & the moan the gear makes as a powerful set of legs pushes the chain into the teeth! #powerispassion

9/30/2026 5:16am a few more things: Interesting that this year's Digger Award goes to the team that leaves the terrain the most untouched and interferes with the natural shape of the mountain as little as possible. These changes could be a step towards more natural freeride vibes, without the huge drops and jumps we've become used to. Or maybe it's simply because...

9/30/2026 5:18am Quick observations from the first looks through socials: Women got the bigger side of the mountain (looker's right). Which means the men's field is more cramped into a tighter space, so my prediction is we'll see a lot of shared features between the men's lines. Brett Rheeder is back on the mountain, but this time as a digger for Tommy...

9/27/2026 11:49am Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere yet, but I noticed Szymon Godziek's Rampage prep video description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeYWxANUXtM It's in Polish, but translated it says: "This year I decided to ride a Status 170. The decision was made because of a change in the competition rules! This year we will not have access to water hoses, so we will...

9/17/2026 4:31pm Our model is built around a roughly 30 rider structure for many reasons, including; Prize money: in year one we need to be conservative and ensure our prize money is impactful. If we spread it to thin it obviously dilutes this, Course: you can’t keep a course in top condition with too many riders. Course safety: while we are providing some easier options on big features, this course is still absolutely insane. It is challenging enough managing rider safety on a course with so many big features with 30 riders. This course would never work for a large rider field...

9/17/2026 4:28pm We love the World Cup series! This event is genuinely not intended to compete with this or any other event series. We have plans to add a New Zealand event in 2028, and a third southern hemisphere event to follow. Ultimately this will be a 3 round ‘off season’ series where riders have an opportunity to race year round and earn top prize money. This also gives fans an opportunity for more year round race coverage and broadcast.

9/1/2026 12:11pm From my understanding, the Trek will use a longer normal sized downtube battery and a smaller brick sized "range extender" at the bottom bracket. In my head I'm seeing something the size of a power tool battery. I really like this battery modularity. Were starting to see more of this like specialized Levo able to run off range extender only. I think the Bosch Crestline is one of the only bikes out there that really nailed this being able to run the 400, 600 and 800 batteries.
