I was in the garage doing some work to one of my bikes over the weekend and watching old mtb movies... I had the thought of going through a few of these and re-watching them as a community and sharing things we noticed/appreciated... thus the idea for this thread. Maybe I'm nostalgic for a more simple time in mountain biking and mountain bike culture or maybe I'm subconsciously lamenting the barrage of short form content that evaporates in the blink of an eye. Either way, I feel like this is may be a fun way to re-live and re-discover these...

I always felt there was something special about only getting to watch your favorite riders in a full video segment once or twice a year. It created a sense of curiosity and anticipation that just doesn't exist anymore. With social media and constant short edits, it feels like there's simply too much content.

I just got back from a week long trip to whistler where due to some family issues (sick pet) and friends cancelling last minute, I was mostly riding alone. Again in the Women Elite race with those comments - how is the producer not getting in his ear about that? I didn’t think we could take a step back in the commentating but so far this broadcast has a lot of room for improvement.
