11/12/2025 2:24am 2 weeks ago I finally got around to having time to set up the new crankbrothers synthesis wheelset from vital fantasy (still so stoked thank you vital and crankbrothers). Pulled the tires and tannus tubeless off my oem set (which I can mount by hand without Tyre levers). Try to install them on the new set. 29r front goes on...

10/3/2025 4:02am Wouldn’t the max insertion mark be allowing for 10-12mm of compression on the bottom out bumper and a couple of mm spare just in case? You’re never going to fully compress the fork just pushing on it without air like a big hit while riding can.

No kidding. The boy dented the hell out of a FRONT wheel at the race first day of practice. We bent it back out and ran it for qualies then had to go with the spare on race day.

4/25/2024 12:50pm Interesting that XT are more powerful than SLX. I always understood that they were the same brake and XT just had tool free adjustments, holes drilled on the lever, and possibly a few grams lighter.
