As we were browsing through the EWS Race Book for the first event of the year in Val di Fassa, Italy, we stumbled across the Prize Purse section. Now, this isn't going to be news to anybody who follows mountain bike racing, but we still want to bring up this discussion again - a total prize purse of 4600 EUROS for one whole race? (the same separate purse is offered for each race of this two-race event - 2 total purses of 4600 EUROS to be clear).

Terrible to hear. I had similar face injury's when I was young, dumb and thought trials was cool. That alone was a rough recovery. Hope he's ok.

Yes having measured up a Genius lately it appears that Scott measures and quotes effective top tube differently, and does so without explaining anywhere in the geo tables that it's different. Nukeproof is to be applauded for that but this is a Scott.

Please prevent any handlebar or stem adjustment and throw my shock into an oven. Oh, and add a bunch of cables and levers, I miss having a front shifter.

Seems like the Scott designers tried really hard to make stuff look clean, and keep it easy on the eyes. Except for the actual rider, where there are still four cables for the left hand to work and cleave off your thigh if anything goes wrong. Unrideable.

6’7” and ride XL 5.5 and XL process 165. I’ve got 40mm spacers under the stem, run 50mm stems and 40mm rise bars. The process has a short HT so I’d run a higher setup if possible but the ST came cut Kinda wanna put a 29” wheel on the process to lift the front, and because that’s super hot right now
