Looks good. But I won't be buying until Shimano stops undercutting the LBS. Plenty of quality alternatives to vote with my dollars.

I've twisted 15mm fork lowers, permanently ruining the casting and also causing me to nearly eat shit. I've never done that with 20mm fork lowers. In the case of the Fox 36, where both the 15mm and 20mm options use pinch bolts on the axle, no it isn't that big a deal. But most 15mm axles don't use pinch bolts...

142 and 20mm. Easy question. 150 or 157 would suck on trail bikes, and 148 means you need a different chainring or spider. As for 20mm, if you can't feel the difference in stiffness between 15 and 20mm good for you, but don't make the rest of us suffer because you're slow and(or) weigh 140 pounds. Suck it up and...

That's like, your opinion maaan. I loved that they were (and are) the bad-ass, DH tinted mag too. They have always been at the forefront regarding awesome mountain bike mag journalism (Vital/Littermag too, just not in print!) .Just think back to when Dirt was still getting it's legs, the bikes/racing/tracks they were hot and bothered over have grown into your modern day DJ/Slopestyle/4X/Dual Slalom, "enduro" and DH bikes. They never left the behind-the-scenes look at DH, they just started covering more rad, fun to ride bikes and events. Don't be such a curmudgeon. Long live Dirt Mag!!!

Or the HS compression setting? Or the fact that you were running the fork stiff as shit, which combined with the long top tube meant you had to shift your weight forward and couldn't load the rear suspension in big impacts? Or... or... or...
