It doesn't need to be broadcast live, in fact its terrible to put on live and that's been stated for years.It's always been better cover as a big event with story's, photos and video's coming out over a week or two. For a live feed you'd need to set up a feed where you slot in your favorite riders or stages and it auto swaps to those riders or stages are people come down, kind of like an advanced AI version of the WC DH race. Like, pick your fav 10-15 riders and follow them on track for the day...

This might be the only time I've seen a Jackson Goldstone race run (since Juniors are not broadcasted at World Cups), and holy hell, that was impressive! The kid is something special, and next year will be wild.

I think one of the most dangerous trends we're seeing are these quasi-mullet haircuts so many of these fellas are sporting. Sets a really bad example for the impressionable kids. At least the French brigade and their trash-stache's aren't here and making this really inappropriate for children's eyes.

Kerr vs Kerr during the broadcast had me laughing out loud, especially during the virtual straight portion during which neither Rob or Claudio could tell which was supposed to be which. What a legend...thanks for everything, Rob!!

I’m feeling it, let’s put it that way. Grande Rob. Me too. I decided to not go in person so I can listen to every minute of commentary. That plus the wife and dogs and all the other stupid stuff holding me back at the house. Damn my excuses… it’s gonna be good race, and hopefully the last VdS that I don’t show up for.

Vital could you guys figure out why Brage isn’t on the list? I think everyone who cares about this event is surprised he wasn’t invited back. I get he crashed but his riding speaks for itself. Did he get an invitation and decline?

Few points to consider here. First, the bike community seems to really want an F1 style world cup circuit. Something that spans the globe, features more races than we currently have, is covered extensively and is fun to watch. You know what that takes? Money. A lot of money. Second, there seems to be perpetual bitching and moaning about the poor pay, lack of healthcare, etc for all racers at the highest level (well, almost all racers). yeah I'm sure most WC DH guys are confident in their riding and also want the most comfort/freedom when seconds are on the line. My days of placing 5th at a NORBA National Sport class race are well behind me, and now that I have kids and run my own business (which can't have me out with severe injury) I'm ok with sacrificing a bit of comfort for safety at this point.

I started wearing one last year after listening to an interview with Dr. Leatt. I had been on the fence before that. The science behind the brace and the reduced chance of a collar bone break make it a no brainer IMO. I race and ride as a hobby and I know its a matter of when I crash not if so I make a point to always wear a good helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, neck brace and spine/chest protector. Hear me out, I’m just spit balling here. The chainstay can’t actually grow, in terms of length, without the wheelbase growing as well, right. I get the fork compressing, and moving back, so effectively shortening the wheelbase, but I thought the idea behind the added stability of HP bikes was a lengthening of the wheelbase (relative to its static, or sagged position) Is it possible, that the RC isn’t lengthening, it’s just moving further up from the bb while cycling through the suspension (so I guess lengthening if it were to be on the same plane, but they’re not, so...
