Yes Condro!! Always love to hear this man speak. Ryan and his older brother Matt Condrashoff are a wealth of knowledge, and more importantly there’s always an insane story behind how they gained this knowledge haha

I live in Washington and run really low pressures, but I seemingly always have to air up in California. The speeds are higher, the berms and ruts are more like concrete, the smooth bits are smoother, and the sharp bits are sharper. One of my friends from California refers to my setup as "flat tires." So I think those pressures make a lot of sense for San Diego, even if I think they would suck in Bellingham.

Different strokes for different folks. I won more than a few races on downhill tires at 28/29 psi. Like previously mentioned by others, there’s no universal tire pressure that works for everyone. For me, anything under 25 psi (maxxis, schwalbe, bontrager, specialized, or continental, those are the tires I’ve ran most) squirms around on me in corners and seems to not hold up to square edge hits as well for me. I also ride size medium bikes which is not on trend with todays “size up” mentality, and this allows me to really pin point where my weight is on...

I wish they'd make all their tires available in dual compound. I always ran a DC rear on my downhill bike if I wasn't at a race because $$$

Wish they'd make EXO+ in dual compound. 3C dies instantly on back tires in dry places.

I guess it's handy for dealers that they didn't change the branding or make the new ones identifiable in any way.

Wow, which Commencal is 440 reach on size S? That's huge! I'm currently on a size M frame with 420-430ish reach (not a Commencal) and feel pretty comfortable (with being 1.70m tall). Banshee could make 4 or 5 sizes to cover more heights, a XS size could have around 400-410 reach, then M could have 440ish, L - 470, XL - 500. They are notorious for listening to their customers and fulfilling their wishes. Smile

RS gets my vote for ease of home service/videos/step by steps and they have been completely reliable. Fox depending on the shock can require more specialized tools but no issue reliability for me.

That memo is definitely written for the casual road bike rider rather than hardcore cycling fan. Also probably written by a casual rather than a hardcore cycling fan. Get ready to have every bit of fun/culture sucked out the broadcast. Low common denominator shit is all they will bother putting out. At least we will still have raw and wyn tv

"The broadcaster will produce more than 600 individual broadcasts including over 1,200 live hours of cycling for coverage in 65 markets on Eurosport and discovery+, and 208 territories via GCN+" Given that GMBN is GCN, I guess we can expect that they will be the forefront of the MTB coverage... That final line does feel like they are listing their priorities. It starts with road, then cyclocross, then track, and MTB and BMX are somewhere at the tail end. I am pessimistic about this, my only hope is they forget to say no to race run helmet cams being published...

The Bomber CR is great, the only trunnion coil shock I couldn't kill. I really like the fact I could change the tune at home quite easily with minimal special tools. I found they were quite overdamped though, even a M/M was pretty full on for me and I'm fat. Combine that with a Cane Creek progressive spring you are in a good spot. I feel like with those progressive springs, controlling HSR would be beneficial.
