Damn I have been riding Knolly bikes for my last 4 bikes. I did get 2 frames replaced under warranty but those were the older models. I think they missed the mark with the sizing on their latest bikes though. I will keep my current bike for awhile but I assume small parts like pivot bolts etc will become an...

First time I had redbull it was the original non carbonated syrup in a glass bottle. It actually didn’t taste that bad to teenage me. I don’t know where the 7-11 got them from but they didn’t have them long.

Privateer bikes have very limited selection on their website. They usually have a new batch delivery date on their sold out bikes but nothing right now. Hopefully launching a new gen in the new year and not a financial issue.

From what I have heard they do a fair amount of business on the zip line. Helps keep the operation running not saying they are super busy all the time

Local hill on Vancouver Island seems to do decent summer business but have invested to add alternatives to just mountain biking to draw in more tourist dollars with a zip line and scenic chair rides. They also have the entrance to strathcona park for foot powered exploration pretty close by that drives some good business to the food services.

I’m not sure but I would think you are in the minority with checking Strava to see what others are up to. I mostly use it to keep track of my stats or to keep track of personal progression/regression (I’m 45 if I can keep up with old me I am doing ok) . Others can correct me if I’m...

I watched a dc rainmaker video about this and he mentioned that Strava is planning on going public and this may have been a bit of a misguided attempt to shore up their ip. I’m for keeping this thread open and just changing the name if possible.

Things sound differently in your area than they do mine I see the Ibis alloy bikes all the time here but rarely see a carbon bike. I would guess a 10 to 1 ratio at least.

Worked with a guy who had spent near an hour trying to adjust a front derailleur. He was a prideful sort and wasn't keen on people offering help. Finally asked me to take a look at it, I flip the cable to the other side of the pinch bolt, check the shifting and tension, and returned to my work bench without saying a word.

I spent more time than I would like to admit trying to fix my shifting. It would shift fine for some of the cassette but some gears I couldn't get to work right no matter how i adjusted. i even replaced a derailleur hanger. Turns out i routed the cable of my shimano derailleur backwards.

I’m in the plus 200lb club and run 20psi front (exo+) and 25psi rear (DH) ( mainly to limit rim strikes and flats) I think terrain and riding style play a big part in tire pressure. I like to ride more natural terrain with flatter corners. If I was riding park with more high speed bermed corners I would need...
