So frustrating to see not even a single EDR date in North America. I know they need to have sites that want to host but come on there has to be some effort on UCI’s part to try and push this.

If the rule exists but is never enforced what’s the big deal for you. As long as they are not cherry-picking certain teams it applies to then I think most people are not worried about it.

I though they ran that for more than one season I could be wrong. but if you look through the rule book I’m 99% sure that rule is not in there for mountain bikes. Again it has been discussed here before and the conclusion is it only applies to road.

I don’t think that rule applies to DH racing and has been discussed before. I could dig through the uci rules but there are so many examples of DH bikes that where protos and never went anywhere.

It will be interesting where Wallace will go. He has slipped a bit in the past few years so hopefully he will be able to get a ride with all the new up and coming talent and a change that would help him in the standings.

I dont know if they can figure out a way to film the Tour de France (how many millions does that take) they should be able to figure slightly better way of giving us better ews coverage. 2 cameras per stage with some drones would probably do it.

Yeah if they where only pulling out of DH racing I could see that but they are pulling out of all racing. Now not that Norco has ever really fielded a top level team to be honest though. I feel for all the riders especially all the up and coming riders that now need to find new rides.

I have over the course of my time riding have had several good sized wrecks, a few broken bones, deep cuts and a fair amount of lost skin. Like most have said just getting back out riding with no pressure on pace or performance and slowly try and work through the mental block. Just recently I lost my front tire...

Update: I know a guy who knows a dude, and an updated Druid is coming, but not for a while. No idea when, but next summer-ish? Maybe? Current sale is just to move the old colours.

I have heard it from several people that coming back has been an issue. I haven't had it as far as I am aware but a few close friends took a good month or two to get back to feeling better. 1 friend it took about 6 months.

No but talk of a farewell year next year seems pretty common but we really haven't seen a massive downturn in his placement. Next year will be great though with soo many riders that seem to pushing things I can think of at least 10 to 20 riders that could win a race and not even be surprised.

For me Hardline feels like the mates races that we did when we were younger. We build jumps, steep lines etc. that scared us, then helped/encouraged each other until (nearly) everybody hit them. Finally, we timed ourselves on this track for bragging rights. Hardline fells the same to me, just on a way bigger scale (jumps, organization and marketing).

Hardline seems less dangerous on the whole than rampage. I mean they're both super gnarly, the features themselves are comparable. But the most dangerous thing for both is guinea pigging new jumps. Hardline has fewer new features than a typical rampage. Once the proper speed for a jump/drop is established then the rest of the hardline field can be towed in. In rampage it's rare for a given line to be shared by more than two. One thing I liked seeing was that airbag on the on/off feature in practice. And a lot of crash pads on rocks etc. Seems...

Funny how everyone is claiming Minnars retirement after an "off" year of a top 10 with not even racing the last one.

I have less of an issue with Hardline as I do with rampage. The guys/ladies "racing" hardline are mostly WC DH guys that choose to rider here and are paid to race WC and do this as a side thing. Also watching the riders and watching their Youtube videos they genuinely seem stoked to ride there and are struggling with...
