Rampage is an event they sponsor they are not signing contracts with all the competitors. How about Crankworks or UCI sanctioned events then tones of athletes get injured during these events and there is the expectation that the athlete has insurance to cover them and not the events responsibility to help the athlete

It seems like redbull do a good job of taking care of their sponsored athletes health and wellness at least. They fly them into their rehab centers and seem to support them through the injury without dropping them. Gee and Brook McDonald both have had stories about their support. I know we see the cleaned up version but it must...

Like someone else already posted and there was some discussion of knolly in the previous older posts but 1 number does not make a bike. Knolly have a very short headtube so most people end up adding a few spacers under the stem effectively shortening the reach. I am 5'11 and ride a size large Warden with 500mm reach and...

Yep the harden up in a platicy way. It is strange there was a review on NSMB that hit the nail on the head that the "harder" compound from Michelin actually preformed better than their softer compound in the cold. I have a max grip assegai on now and haven't noticed any significant changes in grip in the cold. I...

Never had an issue with Michelin tire casing but my terrain is not very hard on tires that way. The rubber compound though as others have said gets significantly harder to ride in the cold. Wet rocks and roots are definitely a bigger challenge especially compared to Max Grip. They all loose a bit in the cold but it is...

This is a big one. I have a friend with an older Fox fork that the shop said they can no longer get dust wipers for. Perfectly good fork otherwise but it will end up in the bin. Small parts from shimano and sram are almost non existent as well so if you bend your cage good luck finding a...

They are the super fit athletes racing these in the ews so can theoretically deal with the trade off in harshness but also they have suspension tuners available if there is an issue they would like addressed as well.

All I would like is an electronically controlled lock out for my shock that I can run from the handlebar that way you don't need so many extra batteries, sensors and weight. I think most people would be really happy with that setup.

It doesnt matter how short the chicken line is if it's slower riders will ride the fast line. -99% sure there already is mandatory safety gear. -I agree concussion checks should be done. -I am 50/50 on the high speed section as that is what makes some of the most intense racing to watch and it is not necessarily the...

It would be interesting to see if there is any truth to that. If someone actually tested ebike efficiency in that manner. I would suspect it to be less that 1% on the life of the battery though in the high power settings unless your are really trying to extend the battery life in a low power application I can't...

How about moto cross racing, hockey, football, rugby etc tons of injuries there that change the outcome of the season. Everyone forgets about mechanicals when we have had some relatively smooth tracks we have had the last 2 years once Mount St Anne and Fort William are back again rims and flats will be an issue. No one likes seeing...

You would think that with an ebike you could simplify the suspension design because you are not as concerned with losses from the suspension as they would be easily picked up by the motor. You can still get a really nice curves without all the extra moving parts.
